I know one thing after following this thread. If I ever meet Bushpig in Africa, I'm gonna buy that son of a bitch a beer. He's right up there with the rest of us ball busters and you gotta love him. I damn near got teary eyed on some of his posts.:ROFLMAO: Cheers to all. Taking life too seriously will make you die before your time! Like the Sarge said "Lighten up Francis". Hog:LOL:

Meme wars can get you in trouble. LOL.
The wonderful folks at Facebbook decided to put me in a 7 day timeout yesterday, for a meme that was deemed inappropriate. Doesn't take much to upset the snowflake crowd.

I was suspended from AR for what "Doug" considered a racist remark. I had a sociology professor (back when they actually taught sociology) that noted when someone is looking for something they generally find it. The comment was made in reference to a study that was made about smalltown USA, and had three groups; then 20 years later a re-study was done and they found the 3 categories had expanded to several. But during the interim, the operators of the study were wondering if these new categories existed, and as such were looking for them. A long time ago it was written Seek and you shall Find. If someone is looking for racism, they will find it, even if it means inventing something.

The short version is: There were many international responses to the passing of former President GHW Bush; about the same time there were articles about former President Obama going to the village of his father in Kenya and being received as a favorite son, add to that the recent news that he is part of the corporation that is organizing American style professional sports to Africa; I posed a simple question: I wonder if when former President Obama passes, if they will lower the flags to half-staff in Kenya.

For that question Doug suspended my account. Does it sound racist to you?

On a side note......it's snowing in Tucson right now. Something I haven't seen here in quite awhile.

Global warming at it's finest.

Interesting how they don’t call it global warming anymore and they now call it climate change which makes it easier to blame fossil fuels for everything - warming, cooling, drought, flood, tornadoes, hurricanes, forest fires, and whatever else. How about the claim that IF sea levels rise a few inches that millions of people in coastal areas will die? Are these people chained to the shoreline? Don’t they have legs?

As a Biologist and as for the polar bear, we have more bears now in almost every habitat area than we did 25 years ago. In addition, if the sea ice melts more (it will never completely disappear), when was the last time you heard about mass starvation of bears? Bears are one of the most adaptable species on earth. Polar bears are perfectly capable of being an omnivore (eating meat and vegetation) just like brown bears and black bears. Polar bears evolved in a very cold environment with little food available to them other than seals and some fish. There is nothing in their anatomy that would stop them from eating other foods.

Wind farms are not green. They have ruined a couple ranches I used to lease. They are black, not green. Besides the windmill with a road built to each one, a complete new transmission line must be built to gather and deliver the power to the main grid. They take 25 years to pay for themselves, even with government subsidies, and their life expectancy is - yes, you guessed it - 25 years. They only produce power 30% of the time because it’s either not windy enough or too windy the other 70%. In the meantime, the big game species leave the ranch and more habitat gets destroyed. This is green?? Wow.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!
