I opposed the covid lock downs and restrictions….. But you didn’t see me throwing bricks at federal vehicles like the “protests” of late; nor was I attempting to burn down federal court houses like the Seattle and Portland “protests”.

No, nor did I support the 3-5 year prison sentences for people who committed no violence in that act who were escorted into the building by capital security.

I didn’t support a 9 year federal prison sentence for the preacher who walked 3 steps into the capitol, said a prayer and walked out.

I also didn’t support shooting an unarmed woman to death by federal agents.

I further didn’t support Nancy Pelosi’s decision to not bring in the national guard before hand……

I hope that folks don't forget that freedom of speech and the right to assembly (with the fight against a tyrannical government) is a cornerstone to our freedom... just as the 2nd amendment is...

This is too funny (sarcastically), how these protesters leave their country (where they do not riot because they know they will get shot on the spot). Come here illegally, protest, loot and burn vehicles and buildings, and we are supposed to be ok with this. If they want change, go back to the sh*t hole you came from, and change your own country. As a legal immigrant, their behavior upsets the hell out of me. Done with my rant.

A good friend of mine is from Venezuela. He came here the right way when he was 16. I got to watch him become a citizen some years ago, awesome experience. Now he’s self employed with employees of his own. He HATES the commies and what is going on here. We need more legal immigrants like you and him. Not the dregs of society like those “protesting”.

I don't know who needs to be reminded about this, but just in case:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

n.b. "peacefully to assemble", "petition the Government", and (my personal favorite) "prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

Don't like ICE? ICE was created by Congress, and Congress can change it. This is not to be confused with "that the laws be faithfully executed...", which is what ICE is doing.

And if people come to a country, violate that countries laws, and then wave the flag of another country, don't tell me it's not an invasion, because I know better.
