Imagine that - and not a RINO on the list - everyone of them a ultra right wing republican. They, and to some extent Charlie Kirk, are the republican equivalents of AOC and Jasmine Crocket - though, admittedly, more articulate. I think I can say with some confidence Nancy Pelosi never let this sort of thing happen on her watch with a democrat president's agenda. It will be interesting to see if Trump can salvage his from the Freedom Caucus and its certainty that they know it better than he does.

Not in defense of Trump, but in defense of fiscal conservatism I ask this question:

When is a good time for you to tank the economy through spending cuts so that we do not run our fiat currency off a cliff?

The answer is there is never a good time, nor a political advantageous time to cut the budget because it ALWAYS causes short term pain in exchange for long term solvency. Nobody of either party (except maybe Ron Paul?) had the fortitude to push for austerity.

I'd tolerate a five year depression in exchange for a century of solvency as a nation. Apparently, nobody else will strike that bargain. In the end, the deadbeat middle class that pays no taxes suffers the worst, their assets are 401ks in fiat currency that get decimated by inflation, the upper class owns tangible assets and is immune.

The thought of leaving fiscal sanity in the hands of Chip Roy is about as comforting as letting Hank Johnson run our defense investments.

Chip Roy won’t like the next bill, or the next.

The one area I agree with Chip Roy is Red states citizens bailing out blue states and propping up the SALT grift. The left bankrupts the state and wants the rest of us to subsidize SALT

I know nothing about them, but in any case that would be an ad hominem killing the messenger.

The result (which will never be the result) would be fiscal solvency and a balanced budget. A nation that spends $5T and receives merely $3T is in its final days.

The turd in the punchbowl is the medicaid cuts. A very slippery slope. I am all for DOGE cleaning out the waste, and tightening up Medicaid spending to a degree, but cutting Medicaid and SNAP assistance to the elderly, and vulnerable could be political suicide going into the midterms.
Chip Roy and his gang want steeper cuts to medicaid.
If it makes its way to the Senate, they could very well gut the medicaid cuts out of the bill. A Senate that has RINOs with more clout then what you will find in the house.

Agreed. 2024's actual numbers were $6.75 trillion in expenditures and $4.9 in revenue. Team Trump clearly envisions dramatic GDP growth to offset the deficit.

You’re falling for the lefts Medicare and Medicaid BS message. Obama should be hauled in to explain why Medicaid is insolvent.

Obama drastically increased Medicaid eligibility to able bodied people and many others. Medicaid is supposed to be a safety net for the very few not 1/3 of the population.

If Medicaid isn’t brought back in line with the original design and intent. No one will have coverage.

Where is the all the savings from Doge??
reducing government overhead, finding fraud and waste is supposed to help the budget…. But they are still voting on budgets with a 2T $ deficit and increasing the spending cap????
It almost looks like politics as usual with simply different spending priorities…

Im not falling for anything. I'm just repeating what I read about the bill, and what has been said by various sources.

Boeing already have a 7 year backlog on orders....and Qatar has a lot of planes on order as is.....a lot can change in that period of time...

My understanding of Boeing is their profit over safety mentality, you may recall a few months or a year ago the doors falling off in flight . I watched a docu that interviewed non union workers in South Carolina and it showed them saying safety inspectors were bought off our pressured to sign off on under rated work . also remember the 2 people set to testify in a inquiry , they showed up dead one in the parking lot by suicide, hmmm. I saw the CEO testify at a congressional hearing a few months back , pathetic!
Its not the same BOEING of the yester years sadly, sound familiar, and this is in no way a slam against any of you that work for BOEING. They use to be a world class company, are they still? Nikki Haley should know.

I've said it before, that I feel it's only a matter of time before we see another major air catastrophe.
Between the current sad state of ATC and outdated methods and equipment, to the crap that Boeing is manufacturing, something bad will inevitably happen again.

New German Chancellor slammed JD Vance and the Trump administration for what he claims is interference in German Democracy
This, on the same day Germany arrested 6 right wing activists for wrong -think, and kept them from traveling to a conference in Milano.

Tyranny in disguise.
Was it this?

While I do not support violence, this does not surprise me when wanting your country to limit immigration and retain any resemblance to the country you grew up in is called "racial radicalization" and your wishes are ignored and called racism. A desire to keep your culture is not racism if immigrants will not assimilate to YOUR culture when allowed in.

Actually if you look at Trumps proposed 10 year budget, it posts a 2T deficit every year. So it seems like he’s right on track.

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
