I can’t see how anyone could blame anything but Hollywood for the death of the American film industry.

I don’t know if there’s a single visionary director left in Hollywood these days with the ability to get a studio to let him make the movies he wants. The directors who do have that sway no longer have the fire in them and end up making pretty forgettable, if competent, films these days.

It will probably not help with 1000 USD, in Sweden we have had the same amount for years, apparently with very low success rate. So low in fact that the politicians are talking about upping it to 35 000 USD.

The full offer is that if they self deport, the U.S.A. will pay for their plane ticket and after arriving in their home country, they will be given the $1,000 payment; and still leave them eligible to apply for LEGAL entry.

Self deportation with administration cost, airfare & $1,000 payment = $4,500 per illegal

Federal agency round up, hearing, detention & deportation cost = $17,500 per illegal

If ICE has to track you down and deport you, then you are 100% permanently bared from applying for legal entry.

I thought that was their plan from the beginning...to destroy hamas....and it's not like they have held back in trying to achieve it....at least they have gone in full steam ahead, which most other countries haven't allowed their military to do in the past wars/conflicts ....hobbling them in the process
