This was coming.
It's very rare to see a rebuke from Supreme Court but Trump and Elon deserved it with all the talk about impeachment of Judges.

Impeachment of Judges is a Constitutional remedy open to Congress. Just as it was when Trump was impeached twice. It won't happen with the make up of this Congress, but it looks like a couple of members of the House are considering actions.

It is interesting that Robert's makes a stronger statement against Trump than he did against Schumer for threatening Kavanaugh and Gorsuch. Or, for the individual inside the Court who leaked Dobbs.

Which river Scott? That looks like it could be a SW river; the main for us is the Nushagak, which is also where most of my moose hunting happens.

It was the Togiak River a couple years ago. I took my in-house mechanic (he has saved us thousands of dollars over the years) and my wife’s aunt. Bucket list trip for them both. They caught the biggest and most fish while I helped and fished a little. We caught kings, sockeye and chum salmon.

I hope to hunt and/or fish with you someday!

My guess is Robert’s is purposefully telling the administration to follow the appeal process.

The Executive has the vested authority to protect the citizens from invasion of violent gang members released from prison. Known terrorists. Etc.

How many Russians went into Ukraine? (I’m guessing it wasn’t 8-20 million people). And what do we call it?

So Robert’s is telling Trump to appeal. He is on solid constitutional footing.

All of that does not mean that a partisan judge should not be removed from the bench.

I can not wrap my mind around how just a year ago we were all doomed from Climate Change. And the lunatics were going to ban ICE vehicles. We all were going to be forced into EV’s.

Every virtue signaling liberal hoisted their Tesla as proof of their sacrifice to the climate Gods. And how they were doing it to save the planet.

So now since Musk is going after their other God. Government.

Do they no longer care about the planet?

Actually burning cars with batteries is very bad for the planet. So was the green new deal and EV’s just a scam? Did they never actually believe the planet was in jeopardy?

I dont know about the US but I recently read an article that stated that the sales of EVs in Germany had increased by about 30 percent overall while the sale of Tesla EVs in Germany had deceased by over 70 percent in the same time frame.

That sounds to me like people still are buying EVs just not Musks EVs.

A quick search shows VW and BMW were far outselling Tesla in Germany before Trump was even elected. Let alone DOGE and the Musk hatred.

I just watched one of our Ex astronauts from AZ brag about selling his Tesla and showed off his new ICE GM Yukon suv.

It was the Togiak River a couple years ago. I took my in-house mechanic (he has saved us thousands of dollars over the years) and my wife’s aunt. Bucket list trip for them both. They caught the biggest and most fish while I helped and fished a little. We caught kings, sockeye and chum salmon.

There are some phenomenal floats to be had on smaller tributaries of the Togiak, particularly for Dollies, rainbows, and grayling - rivers that receive very little to no pressure. My favorite is the Ongivinuk.

It would be an honor.

A positive ending for these space flights , and this rescue especially, is always something to be happy about. Much to the chagrin of the lunatic liberals that were hoping the Space X dragon would crash, in the hopes of getting to hurl blame at their new evil villain, Elon Musk.

Control and a cause are their God. They have to be superior, and so, they also have to be in control. They cannot tolerate anyone or anything that is not subservient to their will.

IMHO Trump will regret taking on government corruption and waste as strongly as he is.

He will learn the hard way that he should’ve faked it like lazy Presidents of the last 50 years and just given it lip service.

Everyone is for reducing corruption and waste until it impacts their personal situation. Very, very, very few people are willing to stand by their convictions when it impacts their money or their benefits or their business.

So a year from now, Trump will be facing a huge DOGE backlash from the left and the right.

Whatever time period It takes for the masses to revolt from the DOGE cuts. After that time.

Trump should reverse course completely and raise taxes on everyone to demonstrate the bloat of government. It would sacrifice his legacy, but help the next regime demonstrate the need for cuts.

If you've ever read some of the decisions handed down by the SCOTUS, you know how ignorant some leftist judges are. Sotomayor can't seem to express a coherent logical argument to save her life. Her ramblings remind me of a 5th grader trying to bluster their way through a book report.

The mental gymnastics required to come up with their arguments never cease to amaze me.

well, my daughter and son in law have 6 kids. their friends have between 2 and 5 kids. apparently, i run in different circles. no status symbols at my kids house, just great, energetic, fun kiddos!

The kids are the status symbol at your kids house.

I think you missed the point of my statement and you give no background as to your child or their friends; perhaps those friends are as I said...... either born into financial advantage OR don't care about the future they provide.

Reminds me of the friend I have with 5 kids that never left my home town, loves to brag about how he is a "self made man" and how he started his landscaping company at 18yo and has never worked for anyone else since he was 18yo..... Leaves out the fact that his grandfather gave him $50K to start his business when he graduated high school and upon knocking up his now wife at the age of 21yo was gifted a new house by his parents.

Either way I'm happy for your kid and their friends, but you make a contrarian statement with no background on the ages, economic status, ethnicity or any other information; maybe your kid and their friends have so many kids because they are in a high economic position...... as you said yourself, apparently you run in different circles..... as in the very people who have large families to display their wealth.
