We were supposed to see the RFK files released today, were we not?

Apparently, Trump is claiming the talks went swimmingly (as he is doing so with the charmingly snarky Laura Ingram as I type). Oddly, immediately following the call with Putin, Russia launched a massive drone attack against Ukraine. The only thing that Putin has offered is suspending strikes against Ukrainian energy infrastructure if Ukraine follows suit. This is a totally self-serving offer. The Russians have largely failed in targeting such sites over the last two years due to Ukrainian air defense assets. On the other hand, Ukraine has reduced the export of Russian refined products by almost 50% due to an unrelenting drone bombardment of Russian refineries.

I wish I had an iota of confidence that the real estate deal maker had a clue what he was doing in a negotiation with Putin. I do not. I would be delighted to be surprised. I do not expect to be.

Ending this war is not a desirable goal for Vladimir Putin, unless he can announce victory. Everything you can reconcile with him until then will be nothing more than a hoax. A candy for Trump, so that Putin has his peace.

A positive ending for these space flights , and this rescue especially, is always something to be happy about. Much to the chagrin of the lunatic liberals that were hoping the Space X dragon would crash, in the hopes of getting to hurl blame at their new evil villain, Elon Musk.

There is always an inherent danger in space flight, which is certainly part of the job.
The space shuttle disaster's always weigh heavily on my mind while watching these flights
Back in the mid 1980's I saw the Space shuttle fly in and out of DMAFB, bolted on top of the 747. It was quite impressive.

I had just stepped out of a tent in deer camp in west Texas right when one reentered back in the 90s. Dark night and it looked like the sky had been cut with flaming sword.

Looks like good investigative reporting by Loomer regarding Judge Boasberg and possible conflict of interest. It will be interesting to see what the DC Circuit says and if another Judge will be assigned.

Judge doesn't want criminal gangs removed from country and daughter makes her living defending them.

This was coming.
It's very rare to see a rebuke from Supreme Court but Trump and Elon deserved it with all the talk about impeachment of Judges.

The problem is one of selfishness. The country's opportunities are just as good as they were in "our day" whatever day that was. The difference is entitlement in Gen Y and Z. They believe they are owed and entitled to an education and a high paying job in a field of their choosing. They chased their dreams and their stupid parents, advisors, and college admissions deluded them into the notion they SHOULD follow their dreams.

I didn't follow my dreams. Most successful baby boomers and gen X-ers didn't follow their dreams either. They thought they were owed nothing, entitled to nothing, and deserved nothing. Those that flourished followed opportunities. My dreams were to be an ornithologist or maybe a judge, my reality was opportunities in technology and risk management were what society needed and I could easily deliver.

In short, a younger person cannot have what they want, if they're smart they'll do what I want because I'm the customer and they need to seize opportunities presented, not delusional dreams.

In addition, they have a piss-poor work ethic, will not start at the bottom, and expect the perqs I earned in 20-30 years within their first 6 months in an occupation, generally speaking.
I’m not sure all Gen Y or Z falls into the categories you have espoused. I do know that Boomers and Xers had an easy time paying for college with a minimum wage, part time job and paying for a home on one salary. By polling data, older generations love to vote for entitlement programs. Of course, younger generations have not voted to push for those reductions.

My example is anecdotal. I grew up on a farm. I only went to college due to an academic scholarship. If I was not able to secure that funding, I would’ve been enlisting the day after high school graduation. My first job was a farm hand, second a fork lift driver, third manager in the same facility, fourth director at a different company, now VP of my department.

Just be careful labeling all of the younger generations as lazy and entitled. I’m sure many in older generations had it tough. It was only 2 years ago before I could afford to have my wife stay home full time. Not due to lack of budgeting, my daily commuter is a 2016 Cruze.

Appreciate your opinion though. It does help cement my perspective.

Apologies, associate VP is my official title.

Screw RINO Roberts. Any federal judge that would try to stop the deportation of these criminal animal's for political reasons, needs to be booted off the bench.
You would expect that any judge would respect their oath. Sad, but many appointed judges care more about politics than upholding the law.

To build on what @ DillionG was saying:

Im a member of the millennial generation and as such my opinion is surely biased as I’m sure if we’re honest many of your are as well being older gentleman mostly of the baby boom generation.

My generation definitely has its faults and you’ll hardly find a bigger critique of it than me. That said I’ve always felt that the problems in the millennial generation were really Frankensteins monsters coming home.

Starting with the late part of gen x and carrying over into the millennials you’ve got a generation that was largely ignored. Both parents in most households were working which not only robbed the younger generations of afternoon interaction but also coloured the evening interaction with both parents routinely being tired and not really wanting to deal with children. In consequence you have a children that were given large amounts of physical things and limited amounts of attention. A generation mostly raised infront of video games to keep them quiet.

On top of that from the time we were children every where we turn every outlet pushed collage. Go to collage you don’t want to dig ditches for a living or push brooms around do you? In consequence the majority of the generation went to collage and many thousands of dollars in debt only to come out of too a job market that had little use for degrees and still favoured job experience. That tried to push starting at the bottom “don’t think your to good to push a broom”.

There are exceptions as there are with any general observation. I’d like to think I’m one of them by my late teens I had the responsibility of running a farm fathers power of attorney due to medical issues and had taken over the mortgage on our home. By twenty I was running a third of a business handling all repair business for a shipyard as well as the slip way and the emergency repair 24/7 service. Much of this was thrust upon me luckily I’d been raised from a young age to handle it by my father.

I guess the point of my ramblings is the majority of my generation is a product of our raising good or bad and that if the older generations finds it hard to find common interests with the millennials it’s because for the most part those interests weren’t instilled in millennials as children.

I'm sure some libs stopped caring about their safe return when they sent that message from space thanking and praising Musk and Trump.
