The MAGA movement is about the narrow view many americans posses towards everything outside the US. So when Trump decides to cut of europe for good many americans wouldn’t really be able to put into a context to anything anyway.
77 million of us gave Trump the mandate.

Europe and other countries are getting a taste of something that is long overdue

That's quite hilarious.

Harris doesn't know how to organize and run a campaign for an office which isn't being handed to her by the California DNC machine. And you think she'd be a capable executive?

The left is pearl-clutching, worrying Trump might become a tyrant. Harris already is a tyrant. Her record as California AG and San Francisco's district attorney are unmistakable.
And the walking pile of democrat excrement is thinking about running for governor

Well, yes, carbon pricing.
We're talking tariffs.

The EU, UK, and Scandinavia (and likely Canada in the near future) all have a CBAM, a Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, which imposes tariffs on goods from countries that do not have a carbon pricing system to ensure domestic production doesn't have to unfairly compete with goods.

Canada has carbon pricing already

That’s going to be an interesting race if she does…

Newsome is trying to paint himself more “centrist” right now.. Charlie Kirk interviewed him earlier this week.. naturally everything wrong in California is the fault of the republicans… Kirk pointed out that for 20 years the Democrats have held the governors mansion, the state house, the state senate, the state judiciary to include the state Supreme Court, the state AGs office, and the CA Sec State office… how could anything at all be the fault of the Republicans?

Kirk pointed out that CA has the highest unemployment in the country, highest cost of living, 2nd highest housing costs, some of the highest crime rates, etc etc.. and that there is a large scale migration east as Californians are leaving the state in large numbers and have been for years..

But… it remains the Republicans fault lol..

Watching Newsome backed by the Pelosi camp and Harris backed by the Obama camp duke it out will serve to kill any future POTUS ambitions for both…

I seriously hope Kamala throws her hat in the ring for the governors office..

There you go waving your chemical degree around again! My mistake. Did you guys require it out east?

Sorry. yes, all crops need it, but your soil test determines if you must add over and above what is already there.

A good climate change argument could be stimulating and a nice change from
European politics. We can draw Trump policy bashing in easily enough on this subject as well.

I assume this is some sort of retort to previous comments I’ve made in regards to potential Chinese investment in future oil projects yet I don’t see it.

If a Canadian leader well use trudeaus name as a place holder although we all know he would never have the fortitude to do it were to completely shut off Canadian oil exports while simultaneously causing blackouts to 1.5 million households in Michigan, Minnesota, and New York and stopping potash with the potential for crop shortages next fall. Trump would most likely consider it an act of aggression and attempt to retaliate with military force. How that would play out is unclear it would depend on how strong of a hold he has on the upper echelons of the military wether or not they would invade an allied nation that has not taken military action against the U.S. @Red Leg would have a better perspective on that.

Worst case scenario

Militarily the U.S. runs over Canada securing vital sectors Alberta oil potash in Saskatchewan major hydro electric damns in Quebec and Labrador. The rest of the world turns on America as a trading partner and ally. Most likely china makes large territorial gains in the pacific while that is going on. The only small consolation I can see is Russia is currently a spent force so mainland Europe might remain relatively unscathed depending if they bother to come to our aid or not.

Although there’s no real way for Canada to ‘cut off’ the US, the Canadian government could certainly do a deal to establish a trans mountain pipeline. This would open new markets (Asia) to Canadian oil and put tremendous pressure on the US. Potash already goes to the coast via the Canpotex system. This provides a clear pricing indicator for exports to the US. In fact, those west coast export contracts ring the bell for US pricing.

I wouldn’t call a 2 vote majority in the House a mandate.
The anti-DEI purge at DOD seems to be working well though.

There is a clip out there of Stephen A Smith on the View. I’d agree with him, it’s a mandate. Here it is:

To my understanding corn is a nitrogen depleting crop and it is required for continuous planting without rotational crop planting schedules but I could be totally off base on that the gentleman who explained it to me could qualify for a tinfoil hat and I have not yet had time to verify his explanation.

Corn uses a tremendous amount of nitrogen. Beans fix their own nitrogen from the atmosphere, and are a net nitrogen contributor to the soil. One of the reasons a corn bean rotation makes so much sense.

Yes, China generates a lot of pollution. However, they are taking steps to address this and will surprise us, just as they have in other ways

This is the most ridiculous statement I have read in a long time.

If you want to know why people don't trust the science, because you say you are a scientist and use scientific theory and then say something ridiculous as this.

Zealots always go too far. Usually not this quickly, but it is the Trump administration. Sadly, it means the eventual backlash will build quicker as well.

Eliminate images of the Enola Gay ........... only in MAGA world or perhaps a fundamentalist seminary.

Texas corn is totally dependent upon fertilizer. I lease fifteen acres to a farmer and he, like everyone else in this area, "rotates" corn on it year after year.

It’s been awhile sense I read it but wasn’t the name enola gay a tribute to the pilots mother? Paul Tibets I believe was the pilots name.

Corn, soy, winter wheat is the standard rotation up here to maintain nitrogen balance.

Yes, Enola Gay Tibbets

@Red Leg Oh no! "...a standing ovation in Moscow and Beijing...."...how would we ever recover? Our pride could get hurt. But have cheer, we could always go and kill them afterward, and that would set it right. Right? Those of you that know nearly nothing about macro-economics apparently feel that the recent $9 trillion dollars wasted on foreign wars is "a few pennys". It is not. We need a foreign policy, and it can't be Whack a Mole. ...FWB

Yes, Enola Gay Tibbets

Gay although not as common as it once was is still a normal name here I know several men with gay or some derivative there of as a given name Gaylon Gaylord ect. I suspect that has more to do though with ethnic French acadian heritage than anything else. I would assume the name gay is not used as a given name in the states?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
