I would think that would lead to trump being measured against FDR in which he’d fall well short.
Well, ones a Capitalist and the other a Democrat & Socialist, but I repeat myself. FDR's New Deal did not get the USA out of the Great Depression, it was WW2 that did that. FDR wanted into WW2, and he got his wish when Japan bombed the USA. (Of course there is a conspiracy theory with that too). The only redeeming New Deal program was the CCC. We will have to agree to disagree about the merits of FDR presidency.

I shouldn't reply because this is just silly. You don't mean this.

I could write about forward defence, making the other guy die for his country, etc, but let me try this. Would you coach your junior football team this way? 'Line up on the touchdown line and block them when they reach you. That'll work!'
It works very well if your line is a machine gun.
Just ask Dan Daly and the dead Chinese.

Your right of corse polio would make it very hard for FDR to be a shoe shine boy. Where as babbling like an narcissistic imbecile would make it impossible for trump to read FDRs December 7th speech with out making it sound something like “japs are bad…their just very bad people …. Little people… bad little people who sank our ships…”

I don’t remember FDR demanding mineral rights when he was saying that America must be the arsenal of democracy.
FDR was one of our worst presidents.
He was a piece of fecal matter.
I hope he rots in Hell.

FDR was the poster boy for the reason of the implementation of term limits. The same thing needs to be done for congress

Anyone wanna take bets on weather 80 plus years from now anyone will be quoting trumps speeches from memory ?
Trump will be remembered as the most resilient and bad ass president of all time....,for awhile.
80 years from now this planet will be inhabitated by twits & morons as the world slides into the abyss of global leftist dystopia.

Western Europe is already in the throes of a 24/7 Beavis and Butthead Moronathon.

He demanded a hell of a more from the Brits for our help.

So just to be clear then if FDR would of set down with the skiorski told him it was his fault hitler invaded Poland and demanded he relinquish territorial claim to Hitler while also charging skiorski half of his countries mineral rights he’d of then been considered a great leader?

"Moronathon". Sounds like the people in charge where I work. I'll try it out Monday. LOL

I understand anyone that is not in favor of a second Trump term is going to take any negative position. The lowest hanging fruit is his rhetoric. I am older than 8. I do remember this exact same criticism of him during his first term. I actually criticized him for what he would either say or post on social media.

I also remember that he would work some impressive deals on a global stage. I am taking a back seat on the Ukraine discussion until results have been provided, based off of these negotiations. Being patient might not be entertaining on this forum. IMO it is a rational stance.

I don’t remember Biden ever being effective in providing a solution to end this war. He did love providing tax payer dollars, either in currency or military hardware, to support Ukraine. I do not want to see people lose their life or livelihood. I am just hoping for some way to negotiate a lasting peace. I am much more confident in Trump providing that than I was with the previous administration.

And do recall, that Trump intends to cut US defense spending by nearly 50% during his term of office
We don't know each other, but in my time on the forums, I've gathered that you are quite intelligent and generally give good factual detail. However, this statement, and many other references I've (not sure if by you, others, or both) seen lack some common Math sense. It's bothered me to a point, I am compelled to add this post.

1) the closest reference I could find to this was that Trump suggested he could reduce spending by 50% - which is not the same as intending to cut budget by 50%.

2) for everyone who says Trump plans to cut budget by 40%:
- 8% per year for 5 years is not calculated as 8% x 5. It is calculated as (long form): 100% x .92 x .92 x .92 x .92 x .92 ..... which ultimately gives a total of roughly 34% total reduction over 5 years.

3) other reports I've seen call for cutting $50B per year, which is actually only about 4.5% of the $1.11T budget, or 23% total cut over 5 years.

None of this post is directed to say cutting Defense/Military spending is good or bad. Simply a correction of what I've seen and interpreted to be bad mathematics and/or misinformation to others.

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
