I think Biden not talking to Putin demonstrated an amateurish strategy. Like a school girl immaturity. “ I’m mad so I’m not talking the that person.”

Unfortunately, we don’t have the luxury of not talking to people we don’t agree with or like.

Both sides in Congress should take note of your last statement.

It’s understandable that “Cocaine Mitch” would be opposed to JFK. Him having Polio as a “yout”. Having a questioning attitude is not always viewed as a good thing.

We all need to remember we wouldn’t have the Supreme Court without Mitch

that somewhat explains a no vote on RFK Jr.. but doesn't explain a no vote on Gabbard.. or a no on Hegseth..

He has made it clear he has personal hatred for Trump... he has publicly called him "stupid", a "despicable human", and "unfit for office"...

D's are claiming McConnel is putting "Country over Party" with his votes..

Thats clearly not the case..

This is about a bitter old man that hates another old man.. and doesn't care about party, country, or anything else other than his personal fued..

The most plausible two shooters theory I’ve heard, basically states the second shooter was a secret service agent who accidentally/negligently discharged his weapon from the car behind JFK trying to engage the shooter from the school book depository…… however the accidental shot hit JFK in the back of the head with his new AR-15 a book was written about it; the secret service and the agent he named sued the book out of print.

Example of the evidence given….

AR-15 was a brand new weapon for the SS and was removed from the approved weapons list the week after JFK was killed.

The entrance hole in the back of JFK’s head was measured at 6mm, too small for the 6.5mm rifle Oswald used; but perfectly consistent with the 5.56mm when you consider “blow through” of bone upon bullet entry.

The “kill shot” or violent reaction head shot shown in the video is consistent with the wounds from a 5.56 bullets that were unstable with the twist rate of the first generation AR-15.

So the conspiracy was covering up the secret service accidentally killing the president.

The biggest issue I have with JFK is one of specificity rather than generality. When a human doesn't know an answer, they make a generalization. That didn't happen with JFK.

When they went into the book depository after the shooting, a military veteran that was then in law enforcement documented in writing that a rifle was recovered. He was really specific, I believe he said it was Argentinian (you can google his paperwork) and that it was a 7.65 Mauser.

Note this quote from the Warren report that discounted his written statements: "Constable Deputy Sheriff Weitzman, who only saw the rifle at a glance and did not handle it, thought the weapon looked like a 7.65 Mauser bolt-action rifle.131 (See chapter V, p. 235.)"

As a gun enthusiast, I read that report and was astounded. If I saw a Mauser at a gun show, I'd be 100% accurate saying "it's a mauser". If I made a generalization out of ignorance, I might say its an 8x57 mauser because that's the stereotypical configuration. But to get down to quoting the most obscure of mauser caliber configurations is specificity, not generality. It would be as if I said it was an 8x50 mauser in a Kurz action with Suhl proof marks and a double square bridge. Making such claims of specificity indicates both my expertise and it indicates by virtue of me citing the obscure, I at least know what the generic alternative is and that this one is different.

On the other hand if I saw a weapon from afar and didn't know much about Carcanos, I could very well make the error that it was a 1904 Mannlicher Schoenauer, a Steyr (the popular modern civilian alternative of JFK's era), or that it was a Dutch Mannlicher or a Hungarian Mannlicher. All of the former would be reasonable and somewhat general errors that would describe a rough outline of a weapon but none of those look like a Mauser and picking the most obscure of Mauser types to describe a Carcano is a very dubious claim with unusual specificity.

Regarding Ukraine/Russia. I don't think Trump cares that much what the final terms are as long as he gets a reasonable peace plan in place fairly soon. Otherwise he would tell Zelensky to reinstate national elections and Trump will deal with the new leader whoever it is as representing the will of the Ukrainian people.

That said, we know that Trump is a negotiator. He named Keith Kellogg as envoy around Thanksgiving. Kellogg has now had over two months to work on a deal. Could it be Trump and Hegseth are just making public the agreed to positions of both parties at the moment. I certainly don't know that to be the case but it is a possibility.
Or we are surrendering points of leverage prior to those negotiations. We’ll see.

But that he might be disinterested in the outcome is frightening.

McConnell announced awhile back he won't be running for reelection?
I'm sure he wants to be a thorn in Trumps backside on his way out.

Fifty years ago Billie Sol Estes said that LBJ had Kennedy killed. Not too many people thought it was true. Estes' grandson released this tape that Estes recorded of a conversation he had with Clifton Carter about a month ago. According to Carter, LBJ had Mac Wallace kill JFK. Carter and Estes were both close to LBJ. Carter also was director of the DNC. The tape seems pretty damning.

It seems the grandson chose this time to release the tape with Trump saying the JFK files would be released.

With AI it is hard to believe anything not verified these days. It would be interesting to hear what audio forensics people have to say about it. It will also be interesting to have the JFK report released.

We wouldn't have lots of things if it wasn't for older generations, at the same time you have to ask, are their actions for the people or selfish?...... And I believe it's blatantly the latter of the two.

It is beyond time for term limits.....

Dianne Feinstein - 90 years old when she died/retired.
Was out of her mind with dementia for YEARS, anybody remember her having to be told how to vote?
Yeah, she had a live in caretaker that had power of attorney; that care taker was Nancy Pelosi's daughter in law!
At the time of her death her net worth was estimated at $70mil

Nancy Pelosi - 84 years old and according to investopedia is worth $200mil+
After the negative optics of hobbling through the house on a walker, someone thought that trekking poles would be better optics..... FAIL!

Mitch McConnell - 82 years old net worth Estimated at $30mil+
The octogenarian turtle man, vapor locks on a regular basis. Leaving him standing there like the rusted up tin man from the wizard of OZ.

Grace Napolitano D - Cali, 87yo
Bill Pascrell R - Ky, 86yo
Maxine Waters D- Cali, 85yo
Steny Hoyer D - Md, 84yo
Charles Grassley R- Iowa, 90yo - Replaced Dianne Feinstein as the oldest senator upon her death in 2023

The "Silent Generation" sure does have a hard time being silent/relinquishing power!

They all have constituencies which have essentially told term limit reformers like you and others to pound sand every election. How do you propose to enact such a change without the votes?

How DOGE was created. Fun little read.
