If you would like some real excitement the next time you are in South West Africa (Namibia) sitting around a campfire with the local over 50 crowd bring up Carter.
Didnt Carter call off the Marines that we’re going to help the South Africans in Angola.

Harris has begun releasing her Economic Plan. She appears to be dropping her plans to bring more Socialism to America and rather just go right to Communism.
Yep, predictable. She, just like Bootygig, grew up in an open, flaming Communist family. Voters need to wake up… I’m not very confident

Don't know whether to give you a WOW or a Laugh. Decided a Laugh, because it would be :A Stirring::A Popcorn::A Whistle::D Beer Draft::D Beer Bottle: entertainment for the rest of the trip.

It is a clear choice at this point to me. Marxist Totalitarianism, or Capitalism and Personal Freedom. I'm scared to death too many people will not see it this simply and will drink the Liberal cool-ade.

People will not see this as long as Trump is focused on Harris' race, gender, crowd sizes, intelligence instead of her record.

Strieff over at RedState has done another update on the Ukrainian attack into Kurst. Like all his work, it is well worth a look.

It looks like the Russian Army has adopted a new flag;)

@spike.t but, but, but..... My government said that this equipment would be non functional because they don't have parts and remember it's cheaper to leave it there and buy new stuff from the military industrial complex.

Everything looks pretty functional to me, especially since the Taliban now has more black hawks than Australia!

I think the crowd size does warrent pointing out. That AI generated photo of Harris waving to thousands as she came off a plane.... while the reflection on the side of the plane showed a mostly empty parking lot with a few airport workers in ear muffs.... that shit needs pointing out.

And those responsible for leaving all that military equipment behind in Afghanistan.... Trump calling them "Fucking Idiots" is to the point and gets the message across quickly. And in my opinion it's accurate!

And Trump is offering a clear choice as to Economic and social direction. He has clearly and continues to clearly uphold and defend States Rights. He defends personal freedoms, and wants to get government out of the way of industry while he encourages business to do business domestically.

Tanks I realize Trumps politicies go against what you profit from... it has hurt my business plenty also. But as was pointed out....
Hunters? It's way deeper than that.

The Russian propagandists - er news talk journalists - have been struggling with the Kursk problem almost as much as the Russian military. Yesterday they rather abruptly switched from nothing to see here and everything is under control, to allowing a hint of realism to creep into the on air discussion. It will be as interesting to watch how the Kremlin tries to shape the Russian public perception and with what message as it will be to ascertain if and how Ukraine exploits this sudden success.

Whatever else, I am fairly confident that if Ukraine is forced to withdraw from Sudzha that the Sudzha gas transfer and measuring station will cease to exist.

For the moment, things are secure enough in the occupied area to be visited by a journalist team from one of the Italian networks.

She's batshit stupid. Bring back American energy independence, and lower fuel prices. It starts & ends with oil prices.
Yes it does! I'm sure I've talked about the corn connection before but it warrents bringing it up again.

Since ethanol became a mainstream thing, the price of corn has been even more closely tied to oil. Very roughly speaking, about 40 to 45 percent of US corn goes to livestock feed and about an equal amount goes towards ethanol or energy production. With the remaining 10 to 20 percent going directly to human food and other uses.

So when oil or more accurately, gasoline, goes up in a supply and demand market such as currently in the US, the value of ethanol goes up.... so if corn is cheap, lots of it pours into ethanol and like any good Capitalists, those ethanol producers crank out more to the point demand for corn goes up and raises the price of corn.

And in Agriculture, corn is King! Farmers decide how much soybeans and every other major crop to plant based on how they expect the profitability of that crop to be compared to corn.

And every trading day the managers of every large feedlot are checking the (futures) price of corn and fat cattle, then calculating the "crush" or profit margin and deciding how much to pay for feeder cattle to keep their yard full. If they don't put enough cattle on feed to meet the demand, the beef packers offer higher prices and pass those costs on to the retailers who pass it on to the consumers.

This happens in somewhat similar manners for almost everything and at least the staples in your grocery cart.

Now there are many complicating factors such as Ukraine and Russia, the two major fertilizer suppliers in the World and big players in corn and wheat, being at war! And the fires and other issues that have momma cows (uterus') at a real low point in the beef industry... can't have steak without it starting in a uterus.

But back to Brent's point, there are lots of factors but it all hinges on energy! In addition to the corn connection, farming and the food supply runs on diesel fuel! So does the distribution system.
