I wonder if Isreal gets hit really hard in this war they may resort to nuclear weapons? I think they would do that before they get defeated. They will get everything they need from us. There's no other chose for the US.

There is no homogenous "Native American" either. Hundreds of different tribes scattered coast to coast, who fought with and enslaved those tribes they conquered. Would they owe reparations to the defeated tribe?
There are thousands of slaves, of every nationality today, in many countries (undoubtedly in the US as well). It is just not done in the open. Throughout history, man has enslaved other men, typically from being the victor in battle. Anyone with any intelligence knows that applying modern PC thinking to the events of the past is foolish, at best.
Reparations are a bid to win votes, period. There is nobody alive today that was either a slave, or a slave owner in these United States, in the stereotypical sense.
Ditto Australia's abortive "Voice" campaign...

Fk me you are so woke its unbelievable....you can be British and hold a passport saying so....doesn't mean you are English ie descending from people who have lived in the country for centuries ...not immigrants who have rocked up recently...whether legal or illegal....labour government years ago had a policy to let as many illegals in and then allow them to stay so that they would vote Labour...and Labour hoped this would mean they would win every election.....that is what he is trying to say ...and from my understanding @mark-hunter at least has the excuse in that English isn't his first language..
This kind of xenophobia should be hard to live with.
Thankfully in the good old USA we don't categorize our citizens like how long they have been here or what their background or religion is/was.
I'm 7th generation but I would have been classified below native Americans if we do that.
Have a nice day.

To divert, briefly, from present threads, consider the damage to undersea gas/oil lines and comms cable in and around the Balklands; shades of the late Gen. Jim Molan's epistle on a putative war in the Pacific involving the PRC; I would not be surprised if Red Leg, and others with deep military experience have not read it . Sobering reading ....

I like most of Biden’s speech. We know he just reads, but clearly the writers are saying the right things. The question is whether the USA can get united enough to be truly effective again.

Never mind the fact his sound bites are carefully filtered and edited through a complicit media, especially short clips distributed to foreign outlets. And forget the parts that are not scrutinized for outright lying. In his most recent speech on Israel and Ukraine he couldn't help lying again. Always listen and wait for it it... it happens as a matter of course during most all of his speeches. He always tells some falsely poignant story of his own experience to make the target audience feel closer to him... a gag-me-with-a-fork contrived poignancy. Usually it's totally made-up crap. The latest was him talking of his experience about being in a war zone in Ukraine, obviously trying to appease the Palestinians and Palestinian sympathizers... like he and they are some kind of kindred souls, "brothers and sisters" under siege from their oppressor (fill in the blank). His story the other day went something like: He remembers walking along (an open mall/plaza/boulevard area in Kiev I presume) with Zelensky and the handlers had the LOCAL air raid sirens turned on... obviously for effect. Those sirens were very loud and over-potting the mics on the cameras covering the scene. He and Zelensky just kept walking along like nothing was happening... they obviously knew it was all staged! During his recent speech his version of this made up crap story was that he and Zelensky were meeting in Ukraine and that he could hear real air raid sirens going off in the distance... which is total BS. I'll guarantee he and ole Volod would not be strolling along if any open area if any of that were true even if the sirens were audible in the distance, let alone blaring away right where they were in that staged event! He may sound coherent and intelligent if the bites are edited with enough skill, but remember he is an habitual liar! Hillary is also known for similar lies and embellishments used for effect while relying on a complicit media to help in the deception and weave the story. Sometimes Biden's contrived poignancy junk and disgustingly calloused rhetoric can't be covered up, even by the Dem's publicity wing, the MSM. The latest example being his "kindred soul" BS story about how he felt the pain and anguish being experienced by residents of Maui after the horrific wild fires there because he once had a kitchen fire at his residence that almost killed his house cat. Pull back the curtain, peel off the make up, view and hear the real Joe Biden.

Russian tactics around the town of Avdiivka continue to be inexplicable. For almost a month they have been carrying out almost daily mounted frontal assaults against Ukrainian positions. Losses in tanks, armored fighting vehicles, and personnel have been catastrophic.

This is yet another platoon or company (-) attack over open ground in broad daylight. They are taken out by a combination of mines, artillery (you will see a puff of smoke approximately a hundred feet in the air - that is a German SMART round which creates an explosively formed armor piercing projectile), and anti-tank guided missiles. Ukrainian forces claim they inflicted well over a thousand casualties in one day.

This was one of his better efforts. He had his usual grapple with the teleprompter on a couple of occasions, but the message was I think appropriate. I personally would have preferred him to have been more direct with Iran. The missiles fired at Israel from Yemen and against our personnel in Iraq certainly provided a direct excuse for a meaningful threat. My assumption is his national security team reached a conclusion soft peddling Iran was better than further stirring a rather flammable situation. I personally think clearly warning Iran would have the opposite effect, but no one asked me. But overall, yes, I think he largely struck the right tone.

With respect to united in our foreign policy, we are still doing fairly well with respect to Ukraine and Israel. The neo-isolationists still represent a minority within my party. Domestic policy is another issue entirely as you see from your first response. It is a personal as well as political issue. That of course bleeds over into foreign policy as well, when things like a border wall are conflated with the threat posed by expansionist Russia. Were this a different forum, you would find a equally disdainful audience with respect to anything that comes out of Trump's mouth. But for the moment at least, the US appears able to act in its national interests with out too much looking back over its shoulder.

How long can they sustain this insanity? At some point even Russia runs out of meat for the grinder!

Not sure your price range. Have a 375 H&H with a muzzle brake. Nice rifle only fired a few times. Also a Mossberg 375 Ruger its been used and shows a few hunts on it.
