I wonder if Fetterman will show up on his first day in the US Senate wearing the trademark Carhartt hoodie or will he break down and finally buy a suit.

Speaking of stroke...how in the hell did JOHN FETTERMAN get elected? Have had friends and family have them and it is a scary deal. Not taking anything away from that fact. How can anyone with a good thought process vote for him?

I know I'm on the younger side of this forums demographic wise, has it ever been this bad before? I personally have not ever seen our country so divided. I feel that's where we are, unfortunately I see one side get to the point they have such a strong feeling of being disenfranchised...that we will have fireworks.

Never thought I would see commen sense leave our country like it has.
How does a guy like Fetterman win? When we field a candidate like Dr. Oz. A political light weight who owes his celebrity status to Oprah Winfrey. An even halfway qualified Republican would have beat Fetterman.

So, what’s Ukraine’s next move? Continue to roll north to crush what’s left of the vaunted Red Army, then turn and attack Crimea? Things will get really interesting then.

Did you see that he is blaming Melania for his decision to back Dr. Oz? Perfect example of his out-of-all-proportion ego. He simple won’t admit error….or defeat.

For what it's worth, the Melania thing is bullshit by the way... Made up.. Fake news by MSM media and Twitter-twits stirring the pot..

There is no doubt that Trump is losing favor with many (including myself) who love his policies, will forever appreciate the movement he created, and the MANY great thing he has done for the country that would NEVER have occurred with a "republican" like a McCain or Romney at the helm.. You may wish to forget or deny that but I will not.. That said, Trump's antics now are hurting the America-first cause. I am disappointed, disillusioned, and confused by what he has done over the last few days.. All conservatives must stand united if we are to prevail. Furthermore, if we are being honest about the need for a united conservative front, I would say to those who would point their finger at Trump must also acknowledge the damage inflicted by the likes of the McCain's, Romney's, Cheney's, Kinzinger's and McConnell's, and every other swamp establishment republican and/or apologist who has undermined the America-first agenda over the last 6 years..

I also believe that too much blame for the shortcoming of the republicans in this election is being heaped on Trump, and not nearly enough blame is being set where it belongs which is on voter stupidity along with the dem's superior ability to game the system. Blaming Trump is the easy thing to do for sure, but it's also short-sighted and naïve.. If the country was indeed willing to vote against their own prosperity and security because they didn't like the idea that Trump endorsed the republican candidate, that is nothing short of moronic.. Since, voter stupidity is much harder to correct in the short term, the republicans better learn to fight fire with fire because it looks as if early voting, mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, and optional debating is here to stay..

The reality is that the reasons for the shortcomings of some of these candidates was multi-faceted, but I don't buy into the bullshit argument that these candidates were rejected because they were not quality options for voters.. Lee Zeldin was by far a higher quality candidate that Hochul as was Tudor Dixon over Whitmer, Laxalt over Kelley, Lake over Hobbs.. And Oz compared to Fetterman? Pleeeeaaase! Any Pennsylvanian who voted for this guy is an idiot plain and simple. The idea that Oz lost to that human caricature because of his Trump endorsement is nonsense.. The lone fact that any of these republican candidates were NOT a democrat should have been more than enough reason for any sane human being to reject the massive democrat-created failures in this country. Ironically, it seems the dems are miserable failures at everything they touch except running elections. Since 2020, they are playing chess while the republican party is playing checkers.. If they don't figure this out, we have surely forsaken the future of the America-first dream.

@Red Leg , I disagree with you on Trumps' legacy in that I think it has yet to be determined. As you know, history is written by the victors.. If conservatives find some way to take back this country and manage to restore the republic for next several decades, I think Trump's accomplishments are looked upon by posterity with great appreciation and favorability. If we continue the slide into socialism, and real fascism then you are correct Trump will be painted as the villain.

Good question. I think for the time being they are content to continue to allow the Russians in Donbas to continue to smash themselves against their defensive lines where they are taking a terrible toll on the Wagner Group and these newly mobilized formations.

The north side of the Dnieper is significantly higher than the south. Ukraine can now move artillery close enough to range all the way to the Crimean border. Anything the Russians attempt there will be under observation and fires.

Were it me (fortunately it isn't) and with my limited knowledge of the Ukrainian current combat strength, I would again husband resources to go over on the offensive with the frost. My main attack would go in at either Nova Kakhovka where the major Dnieper Hydroelectric dam and drive for the Crimean border cutting off all Russian forces in western Kherson or attack toward Mariupol along the Volnovakha line to reach the sea and cut the Russian forces in half.

Assuming they have the combat power, I would do both with the Mariupol axis the main effort and the more western Nova Kakhovka the supporting attack.

But that is me. They have several other options. They have the advantage of interior lines. The Russians, with now only approximately equal forces, have to cover far more terrain than Ukraine. Ukraine can quickly mass in one area while the Russians will take far longer to move the longer loop around line of contact to counter such an attack.

We'll know in a few weeks.

Yes, but this wasn't fake news.

And neither was this.

I'm hardly in denial of Trump's real comments as of late... Point being is that for every legitimate cringe-worthy thing Trump actually says the MSM makes up 5 more embellished or outright fake comments just as they have done since he has been a political figure.. I have no tolerance for the lies and propaganda from any side no matter who they are directed toward.. It feeds the divisiveness that is tearing this country apart.

I understand. I took the post down too late.

Setting aside the country for a moment, I am scared to death that Trump would rather tear apart the party and the movement rather than hand off the baton. And this tantrum is bleeding him Republican support.

He even has to try to take the focus off of Walker.

I know...:(

I pray that somebody in his camp can reason with him to take a step back... I also hope the RNC is smart enough to get DeSantis, Brian Kemp, Tim Scott, Byron Donalds, and every other popular republican heavyweight from the south that they can to Georgia. They need to pull every rabbit they have out of their hats to push Walker across the line.

A few days ago, Trump on stage with together with DeSantis and Walker would be the closer in this race, but I don't see that happening now... Walker might get caught in the middle of this. He is very loyal to Trump and I am sure his people are telling him to stay away from Trump at this point..

It seems to me that Putin's mental state is resembling Hitler's regarding Hitler's actions during the Battle of Stalingrad. It seems to me the wise thing to do with regard to what's best for Russia would be to declare a ceasefire and withdraw troops and materiel. That isn't what Hitler did and that doesn't appear to be anything the Putin is considering.

Oz didn’t lose because Trump endorsed him. He lost because he is a back-bencher with no message to compel anyone other than Trump supporters to vote for him. Trump‘s endorsement and the benefit of that endorsement in terms of MAGA votes didn’t sway the independent vote. Neither Republicans nor Democrats can win without them.

I also meant to add…..I hear people say that unless we support Trump we have to suffer another weak-kneed, country club RINO. This is a false choice. We certainly do not. There are strong, articulate candidates out there if we can move Donald off the stage long enough for them to make an impression on the American voter.

You would think after 5 years of fake news about Trump, people would show some skepticism. The fact most don't, explains why as a nation, we are totally screwed.

The same people that cast a vote for Fetterman to be their senator would do the same if it had been a presidential race. Scary thought.
Democrats don't need living candidates. They need large registration pools and ballet harvests. Unless election rules change in more states, like they did in Florida, the rule of law party will never again win a national election.

Bill Ayers ACORN got BILLIONS from Obama stimulus money to fund Project Vote for a reason. Or does nobody remember any more?

If Oz lost because he’s a back bencher, then using the same logic, the voters view Fetterman as a first string All American. Fetterman’s policies and views are well known.

I hear Fetterman's parents are quite happy and proud of their son getting elected to the US Senate. They are now more hopeful than ever, that he'll move out of their basement and get a place of his own.

Hate to move away from Trump's screeds against "Chinese" Youngkin and the Sanctimonious DeSantis, but my favorite Russian propagandist was having a Trumpian meltdown this morning in Moscow. The omissions with respect to the start of this war are laughable were they not so staggering, but propaganda has its own logic, and he slips a bit off script toward the end.

Well I guess this is one “fishface” that didn’t realize this is a “religious war” and all of the Russian retreats have been in “good faith” because Ukraine is a brother nation. Too funny.
That guy is gonna pop a vein as this thing progresses.

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
Gary
