Ukrainian HIMARS killed 40 and wounded 75 Ukrainian POWs

US HIMARS missile fragments found at the site of the POW camp strike in Elenovka, Donbass

is this an OOOOOPS moment?

Amazing what people can read into pictures I see a building that looks like it has had a fire a boot and a book on a wooden pallet with stains on that survived the fire. The other is a pile of scrap on a bench.:Banghead:

Could be. In late 1944, US submarines sank many Japanese Maru's transiting from the Philippines to Japan. After the war it was discovered that several of them were transporting American POWs who had been taken prisoner in 42 after the fall of Bataan. Bad things happen in war.

However, it is rather interesting that Russia is refusing any access to the site by the same international war crimes investigators with whom Ukraine is fully cooperating. God knows, the Russians don't lack for plenty of HIMARS shrapnel to scatter about to hide either their incompetence or deliberate brutality.

Should they use them all at this location, I am confident there are a lot more on the way.

we as bystanders can assume many different scenarios but what l find different with this claim from Russia is the lack of knowledge from nato or America in what they actually think happened, they are both saying they are unsure of what happened which is not the norm for either of them
there are a few stories kicking about eg... the Wagner group did it ect.. and l'm sure there will be a consensus on what they will agree sounds good but we as thinkers would test these assumptions before just going along with it wouldn't we? for either side?
we all know what an assumption is, being the mother of all farkups
anyway here is a couple more about this story the first being an azov prisoner who did not die in the explosions but looked like he did when told how many of his comrades died, you could feel his emotions, this proxy war will not come to an end with more nato weapons of war

I respectfully disagree. The quicker Ukraine transitions to NATO standard weaponry the sooner thie remnants of the Russian Army will be destroyed or forced to retreat as they did from Kyiv. Perhaps then the whole political house of cards empowering it will also collapse.

and respectfully maybe you are right, maybe more nato weapons of war will stop this proxy war
who knows?, it sounds like many other American/nato theory's that we will have this crowd as our friends today because it suits us at this time and later it will turn into a they are against us plot
eg... the Taliban and many more

what really bothers me is that the first casualty is Truth, so when does BS turn into the Truth?
is it when your own backers finally have the gonads to criticise you?
eg... many many story's about how the sanctions on Russia have hurt Russia but then you have pro Ukrainian "the Guardian" come out with this article

The rouble is soaring and Putin is stronger than ever - our sanctions have backfired

Energy prices are rocketing, inflation is soaring and millions are being starved of grain. Surely Johnson knew this would happen?

Western sanctions against Russia are the most ill-conceived and counterproductive policy in recent international history. Military aid to Ukraine is justified, but the economic war is ineffective against the regime in Moscow, and devastating for its unintended targets. World energy prices are rocketing, inflation is soaring, supply chains are chaotic and millions are being starved of gas, grain and fertiliser. Yet Vladimir Putin’s barbarity only escalates – as does his hold over his own people.

To criticise western sanctions is close to anathema. Defence analysts are dumb on the subject. Strategy thinktanks are silent. Britain’s putative leaders, Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak, compete in belligerent rhetoric, promising ever tougher sanctions without a word of purpose. Yet, hint at scepticism on the subject and you will be excoriated as “pro-Putin” and anti-Ukraine. Sanctions are the war cry of the west’s crusade.
The reality of sanctions on Russia is that they invite retaliation. Putin is free to freeze Europe this winter. He has slashed supply from major pipelines such as Nord Stream 1 by up to 80%. World oil prices have surged and eastern Europe’s flow of wheat and other foodstuffs to Africa and Asia has been all but suspended.

Britain’s domestic gas bills face tripling inside a year. The chief beneficiary is none other than Russia, whose energy exports to Asia have soared, driving its balance of payments into unprecedented surplus. The rouble is one of the world’s strongest currencies this year, having strengthened since January by nearly 50%. Moscow’s overseas assets have been frozen and its oligarchs have relocated their yachts, but there is no sign that Putin cares. He has no electorate to worry him

l especially had an enormous belly laugh when l read this statement as it is so true ROFLMAO
"hint at scepticism on the subject and you will be excoriated as “pro-Putin” and anti-Ukraine"
that's when you are kicked out of the tribe as a heathen LOL
l personally would just rather see the kids sort it out differently in the sandpit

Xi threatens Biden with shooting down fighter escorts and Pelosi plane if they come to Taiwan,,,,, it’d be horrible to lose all the pilots and personnel, but pelosi? Eh, go for it.
Maybe it's part of the prisoner exchange: they get their big shot arms dealer and in addition to getting two lowly prisoners back, they get one of our big shot dealers.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
