This is what is going on in the Southeast. This "battle" occurred yesterday. It shows the Ukrainian brigade using UAVs for observation and fire adjustment, conventional 152 or 155mm artillery fires, and some sort of precision engagement munition. This is an extraordinarily difficult engagement to orchestrate against a moving target set, and is indicative of the professional combat units Russia is facing.

"Destruction" is a bit too strong a term, but they did easily inflict 20-30% casualties on this unit. That renders it combat ineffective for a considerable period. Every one of those flaming hits is a destroyed tank or infantry fighting vehicle. There are no survivors when the ammunition goes up like that.

Don't forget to thank a democrat

this is why I can't just read "on a lighter note"...too much humor over here!
Humor keeps us from taking ourselves too seriously. Life requires laughter, otherwise we'd all end up in the nut house. Not to mention, pointed sarcasm can get a message across with minimum wording, if the words are properly chosen. Some of us find sarcasm humorous.
Studies have shown (lol, doncha love it when something starts with that) that people who read the cartoon section first every morning, live longer than those who start with the news, editorials, or financial section of the paper.

Today, $3.979/gal was the cheapest seen. Most stations were at $4.099/gal or higher. Cheapest diesel was $5.359

After reading about gas stations running dry I topped off my truck today--$5.09/gal diesel. Gonna limit my driving. Gas is $4.71 here and changes up and down several times a day.

I started limiting my driving 2 years ago when I retired, lol. Hate going to town anyway, too many people. I have seen 0.30 jumps in a matter of a couple hours recently though. It's nuts-just like the maroon in the WH...

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
