Did I just read correctly on Fox that Frail Joe concedes he is not confident of beating Super Trump? He also seems to have given up travel. I think this old man is pretty ill, the pattern is he does an event and it takes so much out of him that he has to rest for days on end. Kamala isn't exactly putting enthusiasm into it either - have the dems chucked in the towel?

No. They truly believe they are about to win in an electoral landslide and are simply trying to run out the clock. They may be correct. Certainly, virtually all the polling is telling them that pretty emphatically.

Were I them, the unusual high GOP early voting turnout would have me at least perplexed.

I totally agree. However, the Dems and Never Trumper Republicans have scare me. The average person is pounded day and night by MSM vilifying Trump and it is hard to overcome that message.
As far as Biden swooping in to save the day on COVID; the heavy lifting has already been done by Trump. 95% of Biden ads are about COVID and Trump‘s handling of it. Biden doesn’t have anything else to run on. Lord knows he won’t talk about other issues.
I think Trump missed hammering some major points extolling his accomplishments in COVID and other areas in his ads. In the Columbus, OH area there have been Biden ads 10:1 over the past few weeks. Either Trump thinks OH is in the bag or he’s lost hope.

No.. they havent chucked in the towel...

He's trying to motivate his base to go to the polls..

The big mistake they made in 2016 was acting over confident.. Lots of D's didnt go to the polls.. They thought Hillary had it in the bag... and she was largely unliked even by her own party.. so.. a lot of D's didnt bother to go vote.. and she still ended up with more votes than Trump.. she lost the election based on how the electoral college works..

Biden is trying to express a lack of confidence, hoping this motivates more people to get off the couch and go to the polls.. He wants D's to believe its a tight race and that he may well lose.. so that they will go vote..

Millenial D's as a rule are arent a very motivated bunch.. While a number of them dont mind coming out at night to act like idiots and burn their own cities to the ground.. Getting them to wake up and head to the polls during daylight hours after a night of drinking cheap beer, cussing people and crying in public because BLM isnt a recognized political party, and tearing up someone elses personal property all night..

Well.. that takes quite a bit of effort..

It is often hard to understand what is going on in elections on the other side of the world. A few have asked on this thread or by pm.

While I don't always agree with Schweikart, the broad brushstrokes of what he says here, resonate with me on the macro level. Hope this helps give a better understanding, at least from my general point of view.

I don't watch the main stream media unless it is current events. You probably know more of what the msm is saying about the American election than I do. IMO, the media are corrupt.

Trump got a tremendous amount done in four years. Especially since he was kneecapped with the Russsiagate investigation for 2.5 years. If Trump wins the election, the corruption will be prosecuted, the political federal employees will loose their jobs, the think tanks will loose the corrupt income stream from US $ being repatriated to create US policy, the media will commit self destruction, the echo chamber called DC will implode. etc.

We are seeing an "extinction burst" in real time.

These are amazing times. Isn't life grand!

While I agree another 4 years of Trump is better than 4 years of Dems. It is a big “if” on Trumps re-election effort. He is still down in nearly every poll in every swing state.

Since Washington's time about once every 20 years the president has died. But I saw Bidet on the TV at Warm Springs GA and he was back to his old squint at the teleprompter, miss the proper inflection of sentences and it is clear, this guy won't be around in January 2024.

Watching the interview on Tucker Carlson it looks bad for the Bidet either way. Option 1, he loses election and he tries to disappear into the night, hoping to avoid prosecution for all of the treasonous actions he and his family have been involved with for the last several years until at last he dies, possibly in prison. Option 2. he wins the election and is scheduled to be inaugurated #46. He may even make it to January, but shortly thereafter the Communist wing of the party pursues the indictments for his illegal actions and he is forces to resign to avoid prosecution, which may occur regardless of any plea deal, just to make an example of what happens to "moderate" DemonRats. Just as in the first option, he withers away in shame until he dies. Things don't look good for the Bidets future in either case. However, I find it difficult for me to feel for him. He is merely receiving payment for all of his transactions.
