The so called tariffs are nothing more than a negotiating tool for a realistic NAFTA. The U.S. has been taking it up the rear-end trade wise since Nixon. Long passed time to fight back.

Does the Supreme Court matter? How Biden appointments protect the constitution?

Such redundant questions. the answer to all of them is the same. Biden and all liberal DemonRats will be covered by an obliging media. So,

How will Biden get the economy going?
MSDNC/CNN etc will boast about how everything is going great. Anyone that says otherwise is a racist.

How will he stop the rioting?
Same bunch will cover some story about how the polar ice is melting and totally ignore any in-country strife.

The other questions are answered in the same way- either by media lies or ignoring the topic.

If the Dems don't start taking a strong stance on the riots they will loose the election. I look for a stock market collapse by the end of the year. The market seems very similar to the tech wreck if 2000. The fang stocks are pushing the market to unsustainable highs. Paired my stock holdings today. The country won't get away with the massive printing of money. Whoever wins he will become hated.

"The Resistance" was formed within days of Trump wining in 2016. It started mass protests against Trump's actions even before he had the chance to do anything. I have little doubt that it was nothing more than a street violence mob organised by key Democrats with the purpose of de-legitimizing the elected President, intimidating anyone views counter to their own and making the country as ungovernable as possible.

The current ANTIFA rioters seems to be the same group with even more violent tactics. It's notable that their actions are invariably against Trump even when the 'injustices' they fight against are the product of local Democrat State and City regimes. It's stretching credibility to suggest that they aren't run by the same group of key Democrats and billionaire financiers.

They appear identical in purpose and tactics to the 1930s Nazi Brown Shirts and Mao's Red Guards. If history is repeated, then even if the Democrats win in November, their storm troopers will develop a life of their own and become a threat to the very people who created them.

She was one of the MSNBC "reporters" that acted like a clown during the 2016 election cycle..

Much like a new member here, she was smug, arrogant, etc.. and essentially reported for months on how November was going to be a landslide for HRC.. Then on election night was reporting with glee as each state on the east coast closed its polls and reported a HRC win..

By the time polls started closing in the central time zone she started becoming obviously frantic, questioning everything from the American people to the actual polls, etc..

And by the time polls started closing in the mountain time zone she was in tears...

She doesnt appear to have learned her lesson... I dont watch MSNBC.. but the few clips, etc I have seen in news feeds, and from what I've been told by others, she's back to being smug, arrogant, etc... running unsupported hit piece after hit piece on conservatives... and wallowing in the glory she expects to experience in November...

What I find most interesting about Maddow is she is clearly very intelligent and is a legitimate, very well educated "scholar" (BA from Stanford, MA and PhD in politics from Oxford, etc..).. but she cant seem to make a fact based argument or present an opinion based on actual research to save her life.. Everything I have ever heard or seen from her is emotionally driven drivel..

While I am certain I wouldnt agree with many of her positions on things in life.. I think she might actually be worth listening to, if for no other reason than she is smart, and SHOULD have an analytical mind (hard to pull a PhD out of Oxford without an ability to analyze data and present fact based evidence to support a theory).. but she cant seem to get away from "I feel" and present anything of value from the "I know" perspective..

A Ph.D. From the UK is not like one from the USA. It’s a research degree, dissertation only. In the USA you have course work plus dissertation.

Very true... and something I am personally learning/living today...

I did my undergrad at a school here in the US.. then picked up an MBA and an MS from universities in the UK.. and am now pursuing doctoral studies at a university in the US..

The education systems in the US and UK are similar in many ways.. but very different in many ways as well.. Its been a bit of a PIA making the transition.
