Tundra Tiger
AH legend
Well thank you for that bucket of ice cold water Oscar... though you are probably right about how he would handle it.
What I'm afraid of is that if Trump doesn't win the nomination, he'll run as an independent (the man can't accept defeat), and phuck us all by taking those voters who would vote for him, vs. voting for someone else.
That is exactly what I was thinking. I also love the idea of DeSantis & Gabbard, but boy would that be a serious kick in the balls to both parties. It'll be another Ross Perot situation (conservative majority gets split, leaving a minority liberal ticket an easy win)..
. . . However, it matters not in the least: DeSantis is going to be the nominee, at which point it will be a very easy decision.
Maybe they took in one of my operation managers with cost cutting campaign agenda! At minimum, a Captain and a Rear Admiral need canned just for the appearance of this ship.
The french won't let them scrub it down, Bastids!!Its been 48 years since I have been on a warship, but I believe this one is in the worse outward condition I have ever seen.

Ukraine has a demonstrated gift for seizing the initiative and forcing the Russians to react. Soon after the invasion the Ukrainian Army began to form a unit of Russian dissident emigres, Ukrainians of Russian heritage, and former Russian POWs. The unit initially was intended to fight alongside Ukrainian forces.
Not a lot has been heard about them until yesterday evening, when the commander of this formation broadcast the first clip above across Russian chat channels such as Telegraph. Early this morning, the unit launched an attack into the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.
The second clip is one of the political leaders of this free Russia movement.
I have no idea how large the unit is, I would be surprised if more than battalion strength (500-600). But they have driven several kilometers inside Russia, seizing several small villages, and causing a great deal of panic. In the process they have also shot down a couple of Russian helicopters.
I have little expectation that this will cause a general uprising of any sort, but I am confident this raid is intended as a shaping operation for pending Ukrainian attacks elsewhere. Russian forces have to react, commanders have to shift focus, and like F-16s and modern armor, such a raid on Russian soil increases the pressure on Russia to get out of this quagmire.

Belgorod raid: Who are the fighters infiltrating Russia from Ukraine?
Russia claims to have routed two groups that crossed the border from Ukraine.www.bbc.com
This is a somewhat more balanced report as one would expect from the BBC. What the groups do clearly seem to desire is essentially a mono-ethnically Russian state which would focus on the needs of the ethnic Russian people rather than the Imperial Tsarist and Soviet pan-Eurasian model.
Both groups are Russian Nationalists (Russia first?) and decidedly anti-Putin. I am not entirely sure that makes someone a Nazi anymore than it does an "America first" Trump supporter.
I generally agree. I see nothing virtuous in a "mono-ethnic" state. However, should Russia decide to pick lint from its Russ central naval for the next several decades, they would have my blessing.Ilya Ponamarev is some blend between an anarcho-communist and a social democrat, here are some of the things his party advocates for:
The two bolded points are elements of anarcho-communism or marxism. The rest I would say are more social democratic points of view.
- equal access to education, to create equal opportunities for everyone
- a non-restrictive government which would be gradually replaced by direct democracy
- promotion of social and business entrepreneurship and innovation to transform society
- visa-free travel and abolition of national borders
- replacement of the presidential republic in Russia with a parliamentary democracy, based on clear separation of powers, a strong independent judiciary, and[32] federalism (with most taxes collected and spent by the regional governments)[33][
However Kapustin is very much a neo-nazi or should i say a "national-democrat". He believes in democracy but only for ethnic Russians and other white people. I assume the non-European ethnic groups would be ethnically cleansed from this hypothetical ethnic Russian state. Much like Nazism is "national socialism". I.e. socialist benefits only applied to ethnic Germans and "aryans".

I personally don't see much in common with Kapustin's "Russia First" ideology and Trump's America first ideology. Trump and the vast majority of his supporters are not racist. I would hazard a guess that most of Rundo's and Kapustin's supporters are. Trump's America first policy applies to all American citizens. Regardless of their race or ethnicity. Kapustin's Russia first policy applies only to ethnic Russians and other white people. This is a fundamental difference. Kapustin and Rundo wish to see a "racially pure" America and Europe. I would say those are neo-nazis indeed. I have never heard Trump calling for a "racially pure" America.

I know its wikipedia but this entry is well referenced. You can check the links yourself. Rundo is Kapustin's American political equivalent and ally. I see very little in common between them and the average Trump supporter.
