plane tickets are bought the wait is going to kill me

We finalized the dates for my first african safari yesterday and got the tickets bought. Now the wait really begins.

I am so excited i don't know if i can stand it. we are leaving the 28th of may starting our hunt on the 1st of june and getting home on the 18th of june.

We are going to Namibia and hunting with kalahari hunting safari's in 2 of their locations. Khomas Hochalnd Mountains and their Klahari lodge area. then on a private ranch for a few days at the end for a cull hunt -- hunting partner is good friends with him we will be the only hunters on the land for the season.
Hello Biggdawg,

there are especially two regions, where my heart beats faster:

the Teton Range in your country and the range of the Khomas Highlands in Namibia.
Good luck and Waidmannsheil

I'm absolutly sure, that you have a good time there.
But think ,when you are flying home.Take enough time for the customers to see your gun.
A lot of (mostly) German hunters are also going home.
And one, two hours is in Africa nothing.

I am not a very good writer but I will have plenty of pictures, going to take notes as others have suggested so that will help.

will do.

made it to jo berg, staying at african sky, off to namibia tomorrow. man the 16 hr flight is looooong

What we need is a shift in the earths crust so the flight will be shorter,,,unless you fly with Air France then a 1/2 hour flight is 20 minutes to long,,,heads up you may want to check on how Namibia feels about your left over Ammo for the return trip SA let me in with my Ammo packed in my Suitcase but made me seperate it and check it thru as extra luggage on the return trip

will do.

Not as long as the wait before hand!!! :)

47 days till wheels up time is starting to drag everything done except pre arranged gun permit waiting on booking agent.
Leave July 17 out of IAD on South African Airways flight 471. We are stoked. Anyone leaving on the same day I will buy 1st round before 5:40 departure.

Hello,
Would you consider selling just the Barnes 235's and 250g TTSX's?

I hunted elephant with Luke Samaris in 2005. It was my fourth safari and I tell you he is a fine gentleman the best. I got the opportunity to meet Patty Curtis, although never hunted with him but enjoyed our conversation around our tent in the Selous. Very sad for a tough guy to leave this world the way he did. Let’s pray the murderers are caught. I hope to see Luke in Nashville.
