plane tickets are bought the wait is going to kill me

Leaving May 21 out of Atlanta for Joberg, hunting the Limpopo area, just know I am going to forget something, will start packing soon and ready to go. Feel like a kid at Christmas. When I booked this trip in November, my son could not sleep much the first few days, so excited. It will be my retirement gift for both of us.

We are booked to leave july 28th till aug 16th for two fun trips with paw print and tootabi. We used Lori at travel express again and just as before she saved me some money and made the planning easy.Nice to know the first part of the trip is planned so we can just think of hunting and not the traveling part.just have to get the list done of all what we will be hunting for.Good luck to all going this
year and those making plans

Thanks billc ~ glad I could help you out again!

75 days til we leave for SA. 367 til we head to Namibia. :)

62 days 6 hours for me ;) but who's counting.

Not me...(*my hunt is with Leopards Valley in later June. The clocks ticking! Dave, you're saving all the big ones for me, right? :D )

9 sept flight.10 sept evening hunt!
My target?enjoy,enjoy,and enjoy.
And teach cooking italian rice stile to my friend kate.

May 24th can't come soon enough. Going with three newbie recruits. It'll be a hoot watching them be amazed.

May 10th can't come fast enough. Hunting 2x1 with my dad. 4 of us are going. Sable is on the list. Hunting with magersfontein safaris. I can tell you this I have hunted with five differnet outfitters and I am done trying new people. I am going back to people I trust. Kmg and Magnersfontein are the outfitters that will get my buisness. Last year I hunted Namibia. I took my 10 year old for his first hunt. I did not and don't plan to post a report on the outfitter. I worked very hard and many extra hours at work to end up walking around in a desert struggling to even see animals. I know what I get with the outfitters mentioned above. Safe travels to all. Shoot straight. Aaron

Ouch... That is not a good sign.

This years hunt should be a dream.

I'm in the same boat as you. Except I don't leave until July 24th...... Only 167 days to wait......:(

What are the odds we are sitting next to each other on the flight? Haha...

112 days until July 18 for my 2nd trip, my wife's first safari and 1st time leaving the USA.
To say she is excited would be the biggest understatement I could verbalize.

a couple of days ago, she talks to me about it. "Jerry, I was talking with a lady a work who said
that her sister and husband went to Africa for a 'once in a lifetime' trip. Never planned to go back and
she was saying that she is already planning their 2nd trip. What if I feel the same way and want to go
back again. Can we go somewhere for you to hunt Cape Buffalo and I could just hunt whatever else we saw?"

I reminded her how expensive it was to hunt buff. She replies that we could save up some of the money and use some funds
we had set aside for something else.

I may be creating a monster.

she is definitely a keeper like my better half.

i know the feeling about creating a monster too, i got her into shooting and I load for her now she is worse than me thinking she needs 5k for every caliber she has, lol now i hear " have you made me my ammo yet" " what is taking so long?" lol

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
