idont go raw fish either Clifford .
but the worms in fish are usually fat lines .
ive seen worms in fish ... they are usually skinny looking and a milky juice comes out of the flesh .

then dodging tiger snakes for 2 days, trout fishing with 3 of my loco mates .

theres plenty of southern blue finn left jane ....
the only reason the quota got cut down, here is because the amateur fisherman are catching more and more of them each autumn .

Since we're drifting...... I've been on fishing sport fishing boats out of San Diego......put some raw yellowfin / bluefin tuna or yellowtail in front me a few hours earlier....better stay out of my way. We've got to the point of bringing our own fresh wasabi.

I would beg to differ on that trout fishing comment Cliff, good yes. But best fly fishing, the only proper way to catch a trout, is in the area where Wyoming, Montana and Idaho come together.

Heard those bass guys say that stuff too. They prefer catching those morons that think a spinner bait appears to be a real fish!

Take a vacation sometime to San Diego. There's a sport fishing harbor a bit south of the naval base. There's a little walk-in fish shop / restaurant. Within the continental U.S., it doesn't get much better.

Or preferably take a vacation to Hawaii, specifically Kauai. In the small town of Kapaa is a Japanese restaurant called Kintaro's. Best yellowfin tuna I've ever had except for what I've caught......dangit now I'm drooling for some with a nice cold Kirin!

An 18-year-old Pennsylvania girl was mauled by a bear Friday while hunting with her dad. The real story is the letter she received from PETA following the attack in which she suffered bite wounds and almost lost an ear.

Via The Blaze: The letter, which asked the girl to use the attack to rethink her position on hunting, was written by Alicia Woempner, special projects division manager at PETA, to Camille Bomboy, 18.

çš„ am writing on behalf of PETA and our more than 3 million members and supporters, including thousands across Pennsylvania, to send our best wishes for your speedy recovery and ask you to take a few moments to reflect on this incident.

This seems to be a good opportunity to put yourself in the place of the individuals you and the rest of your hunting party were trying to kill. As terrifying as it must have been to be attacked by a bear, please consider the frightening and painful experiences that hunters set out to impose upon animals.

[It] would be a blessing if you were to abandon hunting and decide to live and let live. [M]any animals endure prolonged, painful deaths when theyæ± e injured by hunters.

Now that you致e experienced the horror of an attacké lthough this one was in self-defense謡e hope you will choose to enjoy nature in only nonviolent ways. Thank you for your consideration.

Where does one begin? Thankfully, for 18-year-old Camille, she was not out in the woods å…Žnjoying nature in a nonviolent way (presumably meaning, unarmed) when she was attacked by the bear in a very violent way.

Moreover, Camille can count her blessings to use the term in the letter that she was not accompanied by an equally-unarmed member of PETA who would have surely tried to reason with the bear before it killed them both.

Incidentally, Camille's dad used his rifle to scare off the bear.

glad its over .
the bloody boat is a shambles, needs some attention .
they are already trying to get me to do another contract .
but l told the big bosses if they sign it ,they can catch it ..

I love it! In fact, it's pretty close to the truth. I strongly suspect that the PETA types generally have "issues". Furthermore, deep down I think that they are nihilists whose philosophical view of the world can only be satisfied with the elimination of humans from the face of the earth.
