Great video - Very informative Philip! Thanks for posting

Philip: thanks for sharing. I am headed to Alaska next fall on my first hunt that requires flying. This answers many of the questions l had

Excellent sir! But, you take substantially more than I do. Being much younger, you can probably haul it around the airport easier than me!

Thanks to you and (I assume) your son for the great info!

Looks good, very basic and too the point
My daughter packs more for an overnight trip
Yes tried to keep it short and to the point. No time to discuss each and every thing.
Thanks!

Great video and breakdown for packing. Now if only I could get my better half to adhere we would be golden.

Great video! Perfect for beginners and even old hands, making sure nothing is forgotten.

Thanks Philip. A great video.
For those planning a safari, watch this video over and over. Philip has it pegged.

Wade— normally gaiters are shorter than u use for snow—idea being keeping stickers and thorns from working their way in to your shoes. Just make sure they aren’t noisy. If nyon try using downy fabric softener to quiet them down. Philip— nice job— missed u at Dallas. Hi to the family. Jacques

@Philip Glass
I noticed you mentioned gaiters. What type of gaiters are used for this type of hunting?
I always use gaiters but ones designed for snow or water more than anything else.
The lightweight ones from Boyt are pretty good but there are leather ones as well. Africa Sporting creations and others have them. You only need them if wearing shorts.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
