Good morning all,
My parents were Republicans.
However, the Republican Party is too liberal and indecisive for me, not to mention every bit as corrupt as the Democrat Party is.
And the Democrat Party is nothing more than The US Communist Party, with some window dressing, as per always raising already very high taxes, punishing the motivated and rewarding the lazy (income tax), turning dangerous criminals loose so fast that the Cops can't keep up these days, encouraging hundreds of thousands of foreign trespassers to sneak in and dump out babies (more Democrat voters).
Lately, they (Federal Fish & Wildlife Department, under current Democrat Administration) reportedly are planning to deliver Hunter's contact information to Anti-Hunting organizations.
When I was a Police Officer, Earth First was on the Terrorist Watch List (suspect in at least one bombing and death threats to petroleum company employees, etc).
Any of you who want to vote for a political party that is battling to give your contact information to such violent organizations, must be travelling with a different map than the one I'm using.
If there is a political moniker that could fit myself, I suppose it would be; "Constitutionalist".
I have very few regrets as I look back over my life but one is that I was not there to help toss bales of tea into Boston Harbor.
And so, voting for any candidate or political party that has made efforts to disarm the people, is a vote to strengthen and assist the enemies of freedom.
Unless the common men and women of this country remain well armed, as per The 2nd Amendment, the rest of our Bill of Rights will not be worth the paper it is written on, one of these days.
Trump is a bellowing buffoon, with a science fiction movie hairdo, however, due to the above described threats to my personal freedom, I have no choice but to vote for him.
Reagan was the best President in my lifetime and Theodore Roosevelt was the best in US History but today, men of that caliber are not stepping up to fight the dragon of tyranny, so to speak.
Speaking of Reagan, one of you Clinton voters posting here, wrote something about the political polls.
I had the misfortune of living in California when I was young.
During my time there, Reagan ran for Governor.
The pollsters were all screeching in unison that, some gigantic number of people / "cross section of California voters", blah, blah, which they had supposedly questioned during the election campaigns, strongly indicated that almost nobody was planning to vote for Reagan.
Furthermore, the general consensus was that he wasn't even a good Actor back when he was in movies (I do agree with that part).
He won the election by a "land slide" number of votes.
Polls my booty, I say humbug.
Precarious Election Year Regards,
Velo Dog.
