on a lighter note...

I know 3 dogs that if they are given a half link or bigger piece of Pup a Roni they will actually hide that piece and return within seconds and I do mean within seconds wanting more.

Gotta love the intelligence of animals.
...or they turn away and eat it fast then try to come back for more. Like you had the package open and forgot to give them one.

This reminds me of when I was with the family in the Muir Woods out side San Francisco, I must have been like 10 or 11 and I told my dad “picture this with me, we cut down all these trees and build a multi million dollar housing development” right after I said this a park ranger walk right past me and gave me the most disgusted look I have gotten in my entire life.

Still one of my most favorite memories.

Yeah....no;...1. Never let them see the bag! 2. Never let them see where the treat bag is laid or stored.....these dogs, and now my stepdad's cat, knows what the respective treat bag looks and sounds like. They can tell the difference between a twinkie wrapper and the treat bag opening.

The dogs pretty much don't care if a human is eating it then they want some,...all of it.

The cat is picky she only wants catnip or other cat only treat. Give her a pinch of chicken or fish first she plays with it, then sniffed a few times and then she eats it. Other foods are just sniffed then ignored.

My last dog would go upstairs with me and lie on the bed while I was doing whatever. I would go back downstairs saying "c'mon" ...nothing. After a few minutes down and the dog staying up, I would take the kraft cheese out of the fridge and crinkle the package. I'd hear... THUMP and the sound of him running down the steps. play like you couldn't hear me -- LOL --Little $hits

Yeeeap...my step-dad's cat will run into the other rooms and hide when the room door is opened. Soon he'd be yelling at the cat to get out of the room, the cat would just stay hidden where he couldn't get to it.

I told him he had to be smarter than the cat. Going over to our designated snack table where our snacks are kept I reached for the cat treat bag and rattled it. She came flying into the kitchen wanting a treat.

I buy smoked chunk salmon at Costco. Somehow my dog can sense when I open the fridge to take it out and he comes running even before I open the bag. Maybe because I give him the dark portion and the skin..

A man remarried and attempting to make friends with her dog, decided to give that dog a Weiner at five o'clock each day. Guess who could tell time within 5 minutes and remind him?

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
