Obsessed With Ruger Rifles Especially #1s

I have two # 1's in 450/400 NE and 416 Rigby. Both are blued and in walnut. Love the 450/400 and will shoot the 416 Rigby for the first time in the next week.

I might as well jump in with the show and tell. I like No.1's a lot just been shooting other stuff lately. It's been a while, think I will put some powder and copper through them now that they're out of the safe.

I'm not sure Ruger & Lipsey's still do a special run each year. There is a guy in Texas that is a No.1 specialist and runs a website called Classic Sporting Arms and he doesn't show anything past 2017.

I only have two of these fine rifles. I find them enjoyable. I have a 1979 .375 H&H and she is my best friend. I have a 2016 .458 Lott and she is all business. We have learned to be civil with one another. I put a Leupold scope on the lady and fixed express sights on the Businesswoman. I have since bothered to put Pacmayr XLT pads on each. I think a .30-06 may finish my collection.

Yep About a year ago I sold a 458 Lott because I now have a 470 NE Double. The 458 was the backup rifle I took on my elephant hunt

I love the Merkel 470 and kinda miss the 458 although it was walnut wood and blue metal. Another friend herE on AH bought a stainless #1 in 458 Lott. Kinda figured I would buy it from him after he played with it a bit, as he frequently sells rifles, but darn if he didn’t sell it to somebody else.

My Ruger collection is limited to a 10/22,
A first year mk11 varmint in. 223 with blue reciever and stainless barrel with laminated stock. Hawkeye in 35 Whelen.
My son has 2 stainless laminated LH chambered in 300 Win mag and .270
Being left handed they were exactly what he wanted
Almost forgot I have my dad's 77 in 7mag he's hunted with since about 1970 as well

I have #1S in 30-06 that I'd part with. It's had less than 40 rounds through it and in like new condition. I still have the box. 1150.00 shipped if you're interested.
