what the Gentleman Said !

As I see seller wants to give forum members prime access to the first 10 rifles before opening sales more widely. Additionally AH special discount exclusively for forum members, which they don’t want to publish online.

I have a seekins. Well built fine shooting rifle.
That stock style would not be my first choice for a fast shooting dg rifle. I am more of a traditional type stock for fast off hand shooting.
But as for quality. I feel it would be tough to beat at twice what seekins is asking

damn , that is so tempting ......
Why not? I have a PH2 in 7mm mag an incredibly accurate and reliable rifle. The only drawback is its flimsy stock. PH1 had a better stock, and with the PH3 they finally got it right again. The new stock more rigid but also features an adjustable comb. For the price, I can’t think of another company that offers the same level of accuracy, lightweight, reliability and gold-standard CS. Other rifles on the market I can think of Christensen Arms (with hit-or-miss QC) and Bergara, both cost a few hundred more.

100% correct.. I can only promote special pricing in PM's or direct emails ; My AH discount is certainly attractive. A couple members have already ordered rifles, I have 8 left unspoken for

100% , These rifles are absolutely fantastic in every chambering. They are a direct competitor to CA and imo a clear winner between the two.

What's the weight on these? Does the 375 model also work with the quick change barrel system?
7.2 lbs bare, Quick change barrel system does work with this model as well.

What would be a good, but reasonably priced, scope for this rifle?
Z5i+ 3-18x50 would be my pick.. Light, great mag range, Swaro Ballistics will show you exactly what each subtension correlates to what distance with your specific load, zero, and atmospheric conditions.

That’s a broad question.
What does “reasonably priced” mean to you? Everyone’s budget is different.
What game species are you hunting?
What distance and terrain?
Do you prefer a first focal plane or second focal plane scope?
Illuminated reticle or not?
Is weight and length a primary concern?

Thank you for your reply.

Less than the cost of the rifle preferred.

Nilgai and maybe elk are the targets.

350 yards max in wooded terrain.

I don’t really understand the pro/con of 1st vs 2nd focal plane.

Doesn’t need to be illuminated.

I prefer it to not be too heavy or too long.

this is the perfect scope for everything you just described... Especially when I factor in the AH promo pricing.

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
To much to political shit, to little Africa :-)
Spending a few years hunting out west then back to Africa!
