I was hunting with the company Australian buffalo hunters.
PH was Graham Williams (owner of the company).
Real hunt in the Arnheim land. No farm hunt.

I got two nice bulls.

Jan-Eric Nilsen your trophies are fantastic and from all parts of the world. I see now why you are looking for an elephant hunt. I hope one of the AH Outfitter Sponsors offers you a hunt to your liking. Were you planning to use your 416 Rigby or purchase a double rifle in a Nitro Express caliber?

My 416 Rigby have served me well and will for sure be with me on my Elephant hunt.
My plan is to use Woodleigh 410 grain solids. I do my own reloading.
I think I will remove the scope and use open sights only. This will be a more personal hunt because the distanse then have to be shorter.

Yes, I have got several offers from AH Outfitters Sponsons and most of them could be on my wish list.
One of the AH Outfitters Sponsors fits my wishes more than the rest.
I like to work hard for my trophy and the hunt itself is a part of my goal. For sure, I would like to get a god trophy but not in a easy way. The hunt is a important part on my way to achieve the trophy.
Walk, walk, stalk and sneek, that how I like it.

It will be a 14 days hunt in the second half of April 2019.
Contract and deposit will be activities the next week.
Booking the flight in May and then practical shooting with/without shooting sticks every week plus get the body in shape by long walkings.
It will be a fun part of the pre hunt preparations.

Hi Jan Erik, great to see you at DSC in Jan 2020.. I will tell everyone a short story... we had an awesome time... but we politely argued about the speed of shooting doubles and bolt rifles. So we had a (practice) shoot out. His Dakoto 416 Rigby, and my 465 H&H Dominion double... .... result as I was reaching for no 3&4 shells, he finished his 4th shot... he was lightning fast, and I hope Dakota weld the bold handles on hard. So I know his Eli will cop 2 before it hits the deck... Did you go in 2019.? Cheers Graham
