Hi,

I'am a new member on the AH forum and my favourite way of hunting is walk and stalk (sneak) with one of my rifles. I have a 222. rem, 30-06, 338. win mag and 416 Rigby.
Mountain´s and Africa is my favourite way/places to be.
I have hunted in several country's but hunting in Africa with my Dakota 76 African in 416 Rigby is on my top list. For next year I have start to check out for a Bull elephant hunt. This is how I found the AH forum.
I hope to find a late/early season offers with prices I have seen here earlier. It is still legal to import tusks to Norway so next year is my plan to do this hunt.

Welcome aboard Jan-Eric Nilsen. I see that you have already been contacted by a number of the Outfitters affiliated with AH. I's suggest very strongly that you book with one of them (after doing considerable research of course) my reason for doing so is that these guys get "vetted" on a regular basis by other AH members. Even though you don't know us personally, we all want and expect many of the same things for our "hunting dollars." There are experts here in all aspects / fields of hunting, shooting, reloading traveling etc. fi you have any questions just ask them.

Yes, there have been several Outfitters who have made a respons. That's what I hoping for.
I will use the expertise here on AH to secure my decision or other questions I may have.

I can see there is a positive attitude among the AH members. That feels good for new members.

My elephant hunt will be a 60 years gift to my self.
I had a dream of a buffalo hunt before 55 and it have been 3 of them now. I think I'm and my rifle is ready for the next step.
The trophy hunts in 30-40K+ is far off my range som I´m looking for a hunt more in my budget area.
I will search hard for the right deal and maybe I have to wait for a special "hunt now" late/early season offer.

So far so good..
