NAMIBIA: Dangerous Game Hunting with JKO Hunting Safaris - Africa 2020

Amazing pics buddy and glad it was such a fantastic time!!

Heck yeah man! Congrats on a great hunt and thanks for sharing!

Way to make a plan in 2020!

Glad you had a fantastic hunt. Good job overcoming the illness.

Jacques and Phil are great to work with. You can't go wrong dealing with them.

What a great ending to a hunt of a life time. BTW, I know you were still sick, but were you able to eat or just try a bit of the elephant?

I did try a small piece that they boiled there on site during the recovery. It was pretty much like any other boiled, unseasoned game meat. Chris had them set aside some of the meat from the temple for us. He marinated it overnight it in his special Jongosi Media marinade then cooked it for us. It was tender and quite good.

Thank you very much for sharing that. I felt like I was with you.

How was the airline travel with the COVID and all? Masked the whole time, etc?

Thanks it was a great experience. The air travel was exactly what you would imagine. Some of the members of the crew were pretty adamant about everyone keeping their mask on and others weren’t really worried about it. I got used to it pretty quick.

[emoji23] I chose to stay clear of the scorpions.

You mean Chris couldn’t talk you into it haha?!?! I’ve done some stupid crap while passing the time with Chris and Jacques- this picture is just one of hundreds of examples lol [emoji38]

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
