My little space

Love seeing the john wayne piece in the corner. I say move the 3 euors together and make room for the buff.

This would look great coming off the wall.

Thanks for the info, beautiful work. Can't wait for stuff to get back and start making my house look like this one.

Woohoo! Just got a call my 2017 & 2018 taxidermy will be delivered about noon Friday! Needless to say, I’m excited!

I hope the mounts are everything you are looking for.

Thank you sir! Me too! I went through a bit of a hassle with the taxidermist. I only hope he did it correctly. What I have left over there from my 2019 trip may be the last time I have anything done there. It is at a new guy though and not my previous one.

Look forward to seeing pictures

An update on my recent shipment.

Nothing but euros coming from my 2019, warthog, gemsbok, springbuck, blue wildebeest, and impala. Nothing but pictures and the Skulls Unlimited lion skull you see on the hearth. Works for me.

Sadly they sent someone else’s dinky croc skull (shipper issue). Taxidermist sent the croc skin not tanned to make something out of as I requested. He also en the buff skin itch hair on not the hair off as I specified. What do you do about it? I’ll never use, nor recommend anyone use him! WERE-ELS TAXIDERMY. Africa Alive!...NOT!

Thanks Johnnyblues! Sable are truly one of the most handsome of the antelope IMO.

Man I’m having trouble with my iPad typing correctly!

By the way a little info for you old codgers, the picture over the fireplace is a numbered print from a Fred Harmon painting and the BB gun to the left of the fireplace was a gift from my daughter...1920s Red Rider! Fred Harmon was the artist who created "Red Rider and Little Beaver" comic strip.
"And now you know the rest of the story."

Thanks for everyone's kind comments of my little space.

"You betchum, Red Ryder." Remember that one from Little Beaver? I read all of the "little big books" as a kid.

Great childhood memories for me Newboomer!

Beautiful Sable my friend!

Thanks Charlie! I believe they are the most regal and handsome of the antelope.

Hmmm...good questions Tra3! If only what I have already taken, of course another Cape buffalo, but I really enjoyed the critical precision shooting on the croc as well. Definitely some more of the night critters, caracal, civet and hopefully genet and serval. An over 55” kudu, 40” or more of the gemsbok would be nice to add.

The lion & lioness as well as the Cape buffalo were very exciting, but again I think my favorite was the croc worrying if I could pull the 90 yard shot off and not lose the trophy.

New ones, I dream of an elephant, leopard and hippo to complete the big 6. Even the darting of a rhino advertised under DEALS AND OFFERS would be a unique hunt.

But, I guess at my age, I need to pick and choose better while I’m still in good shape.:D:ROFLMAO:

Heard my 2019 including supposedly my actual croc skull (paid twice now to get it!) are in route between Chicago and Denver. Hopefully they will be here next week. Man what an ordeal taxidermy is getting to be!

Murphy strikes again! The crate made it to Denver, but the paperwork has disappeared! Apparently the airline has lost the paperwork including the CITIES permit! UGH! This shipment has been one thing after another!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
