My Covid vaccination experience

Mrna COVID Vaccines Dramatically Increase Endothelial Inflammatory Markers and ACS Risk as Measured by the PULS Cardiac Test

Our group has been using the PLUS Cardiac Test (GD Biosciences, Inc, Irvine, CA) a clinically validated measurement of multiple protein biomarkers which generates a score predicting the 5 yr risk (percentage chance) of a new Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). The score is based on changes from the norm of multiple protein biomarkers including IL-16, a proinflammatory cytokine, soluble Fas, an inducer of apoptosis, and Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF)which serves as a marker for chemotaxis of T-cells into epithelium and cardiac tissue, among other markers. Elevation above the norm increases the PULS score, while decreases below the norm lowers the PULS score. The score has been measured every 3-6 months in our patient population for 8 years.

Recently, with the advent of the mRNA COVID 19 vaccines (vac) by Moderna and Pfizer, dramatic changes in the PULS score became apparent in most patients.

This report summarizes those results. A total of 566 pts, aged 28 to 97, M:F ratio 1:1 seen in a preventive cardiology practice had a new PULS test drawn from 2 to 10 weeks following the 2nd COVID shot and was compared to the previous PULS score drawn 3 to 5 months previously pre- shot. Baseline IL-16 increased from 35=/-20 above the norm to 82 =/- 75 above the norm post-vac; sFas increased from 22+/- 15 above the norm to 46=/-24 above the norm post-vac; HGF increased from 42+/-12 above the norm to 86+/-31 above the norm post-vac. These changes resulted in an increase of the PULS score from 11% 5 yr ACS risk to 25% 5 yr ACS risk.

At the time of this report, these changes persist for at least 2.5 months post second dose of vac.We conclude that the mRNA vacs dramatically increase inflammation on the endothelium and T cell infiltration of cardiac muscle and may account for the observations of increased thrombosis, cardiomyopathy, and other vascular events following vaccination.

Interesting to read all of this. I have always received (wanted or not) any and all vaccines due to my work and travel. I felt it was an additional layer of protection for me from the unwashed masses. I don't know that any vaccine guarantees complete and total immunity and I have never had severe reactions or contracted sickness after any of my vaccines. I have never wrecked my vehicle or had my home damaged but I still buy insurance. I look at vaccines and insurance as "in case it is needed".

When we did our first international flight since this sh*t show started, I commented to my wife that if nothing else, the covid panicdemic has brought back cleaning in airports and basic hygiene taught in the dark ages when we still prayed in school. I have flow back and forth a few times this year between our homes and I am sad to report the US airports have once again sunk below construction port-o-john standards. We have returned to being nasty animals. Maybe we should focus less on vaccines, masks and travel restrictions and just enforce basic hygiene again.

I have had 3 Pfizer doses. The second and third gave me a sore arm and a jet lag feeling. However, I still enjoyed my night time cocktail(s) and would have gone to work the next day were I not retired.

If we want to return to normal as soon as possible, this quote really holds true:
"Were I to invoke logic, logic clearly dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." - Mr. Spock, Wrath of Khan

May everyone enjoy a safe and blessed Holiday Season despite all of the "Scrooges and Grinches" screwing up the world.

You arent ever going to get 100 percent voluntary vaccination. So the next question is how does one go about making people take the jab?
You cant, not in America anyway.
In the US the full vac rate is around 60 percent according to a quick lookup. I would guess eventually you might get that up to 75-80 percent somewhere down the road.
There are reasons to get the jab and reasons not to, it all depends on what an individuals particular case is as regards their own health issues and condition, and frankly whether they want to or not.
It is our RIGHT as citizens to not get things put in our bodies that we dont want for whatever reasons we choose. Call it the price of freedom if you will.
Despite Spocks platitudes, as he might say, its irrelevant. This isnt a Star Trek movie. BTW I just watched that the other day, good movie, but.. its still just a movie, fantasy at that.

The whole thing is a giant clusterf**k with no end in sight because every time we get one variant out of the way there will be a new one.

I agree with you. I am not following the science (fiction), just expressing my opinion based on my experiences. As far as everyone's rights and how they use or abuse them, I could care less as long as they conduct themselves in an educated and civil manner and accept responsibility for their actions. As I said above, I think basic hygiene would be a major step to slow and/or stop this panicdemic.

I served 24 years in the US Army, that is how strongly I believe in this country and the rights of US citizens. Trust me, I truly understand the price of freedom.

Spock is fiction but the the quote itself truly applies to being a good citizen and leader, regardless of the source.

May everyone enjoy a safe and pleasant Holiday Season.

That is unless you happen to be in that 0.7% risk group which I am. I have also known a number of folks that didn't make it out of the hospital once they went in.

It's a lot like playing the lotto. Even with a very slim chance of winning there are quite a few that play.
You don't know that you are in the .7% you simply believe you are. Man I know local has only a portion of his heart working, he was told if he got Covid-19 that it would kill him. Well he got Covid-19 and not only did it not kill him he was barely sick.

It isn't the heart's condition but your lung function that causes the problems with covid. That is why people are placed on ventilators, so that they can breathe

Hello Hawk, like yourself I reload also. (58 years worth) I shoot/load for both 375 H&H and the 9.3X62. I fully agree that with modern powders and worked up load data the 9.3X62 will and can deliver 95% of what the 375 has to offer in factory loads. Factory ammunition has been held down to original pressure levels but boost the pressure to modern levels and it becomes a horse of a different color. Where legal I would not hesitate to use it on buffalo with the right bullet.

He had zero problems breathing, I had zero problems breathing and my wife had zero problems breathing.

But most of those who are passing away are dieing because of lung problems and not heart problems

Hopefully in a couple years, scientists will find the RNA signature to differentiate who needs the shot and who doesn't instead of the shotgun approach being used now.

And also hopefully it wont be too long before some better vac's and treatments are readily available.
I am sure someone is working on them right now or at least I hope so.
The current vac's seemed to do well early one but as time goes on they become almost useless and need constant boosters.
OK for interim use but they must do better.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
