Like new Meopta Meostar R2 1.7-10X42 scope with daylight bright illuminates dot and a BDC3 reticle. This would be right at home on a 375 h&h It is super clear and the low power and bright red dot would be awesome on dangerous game. The higher power and additional reticle holds are perfect for longer ranges of plains game. The reticle is not super busy either and your eye is drawn to the red dot. 30mm tube. $1450 shipped to the cont. US

Have one of these on my 375h&h. Heck of a scope for the money.

That is a very usable range, 1.7 is fine for very close work and 10 is plenty on the top end.

Have the same scope with a 4a reticle.

Great scope, pretty much identical in performance to my friend’s Swaro of the same power.

Great deal for someone.

Answering a PM but thought I would put it here also.

Still available and it has a 30mm tube.

Final reduction to $1375 shipped! I will be listing this elsewhere now also.

I want to give everyone an update on this scope/seller. I hate doing something like this, but I feel the seller mislead me, and thus I feel I have an obligation to the greater community. The scope arrived and appeared to be working order. As soon as I mounted the scope the red dot stopped working. I contacted the seller asking if he'd ever had issue with the illuminated reticle, he indicated that he had not (screenshot below). I reached out to Meopta to exercise the warranty, never received a response. I figure Europtic would probably have better luck getting ahold of Meopta, so I contacted them. Europtic was able to get a response from Meopta, they said "This was sold in February of 2023 to B&H Photo. In May of 2024 it was sent in for repair when the illumination stopped working." (Screenshot of the email exchange below). Europtic having never had anything to do with the scope was mighty kind to help me, can't say enough about those guys. As for the seller, it seems pretty clear to me, but I'll let you make your own judgement.

That's my take as well, just wish the illuminated reticle would work. Sucks to get a lemon, but sucks even more when someone tricks you into buying one!

Will Meopta repair it “again”? Has the seller respondered/offered to help with repair if no longer under warranty? That is where I would start. Good luck.

I am not going to get into a battle here with someone just looking to get an audience to listen to HIS SIDE of the story. He had this scope for over a month then sent me a nasty email about what I did wrong. He sent several in a few days and expected an immediate response. I should have known something was afoot given some of the strange communications he had. He has made a lot of assumptions and accusations even before the purchase. I have had nothing but great transactions here and don't think it is appropriate to use a sales thread just to try and trash someone. I'm not going to play game here. This is my first and last post here regarding this but I trust he is the type that will keep pushing to so he can find agreement by telling only parts he wishes you to hear. Go with God my friend. I have better things to worry about.

Do you have any cull hunts available? 7 days, daily rate plus per animal price?
