Meopta Meostar R2 1.7-10X42 illum Reticle

I am not going to get into a battle here with someone just looking to get an audience to listen to HIS SIDE of the story. He had this scope for over a month then sent me a nasty email about what I did wrong. He sent several in a few days and expected an immediate response. I should have known something was afoot given some of the strange communications he had. He has made a lot of assumptions and accusations even before the purchase. I have had nothing but great transactions here and don't think it is appropriate to use a sales thread just to try and trash someone. I'm not going to play games here. This is my first and last post here regarding this but I trust he is the type that will keep pushing so he can find agreement by telling only parts he wishes you to hear. Go with God my friend. I have better things to worry about.
I am pretty sure god has better things to do than help me with the illuminated reticle, but if there is another side to the story please share it.

The glass is pretty amazing, probably the best I have, just wish the illuminated reticle worked

What's not working?

If the battery is put in on the on mode it will work the opposite way. It is a little funky the way the switch works.

It's not working at all. I've tried using brand new batteries with the scope in both the off and on position.

Do you know if @Letzhunt the original buyer of the scope? Maybe I missed it in the previous posts.

Yes, please do.
I did not include the first couple of messages in the conversation as they contained a lot of personal information

Beck,
I recently sent back a scope and dealt with Meopta. Try emailing Katerina.

Katerina.Gavendova@meopta.com

Their process is not ideal as it has to go overseas but they turned it around pretty quick. I recommend emailing them daily until they respond. Good luck!
now this is good information, thank you! First decent lead I have received for a direct contact at Meopta

Update this woman responded to the second message I sent her, and apparently the scope is still under warranty.

Good deal, hope you can get it fixed!

Seems entirely possible that the dealer who sold the scope as a demo, sent it in for repair?

In such a case, the latest seller would not know there was a previous issue?

Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
To much to political shit, to little Africa :-)
Spending a few years hunting out west then back to Africa!

Hello. If you haven't already sold this rifle then I will purchase. Please advise. Thank you.

I doubt you are interested in any trades but I was getting ready to list a Sauer 404 3 barrel set in the 10-12 price range if your interested. It has the 404J, 30-06 and 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. Only the 30-06 had been shot and it has 7 rounds through it as I was working on breaking the barrel in. It also has both the synthetic thumbhole stock and somewhere between grade 3-5 non thumbhole stock
