Would the closest airport be OR Tambo?
Are there transfer fees?
What do additional days cost?
What are observer fees?
Will you be running a similar offer in 2018?
Thanks,
Randy
Hello Randy
I am not sure if we will run similar packages for next year.
We are still so busy with safaris that we have not had time to think about next year's marketing.
What I can tell you is that if you book any one of these specials now with a small deposit (say $2000) then you can still do the hunt in 2018 even if we do not run the same packages for 2018.
When you book the hunt (with a deposit) of a certain package we will honor that package even in 2018 or 2019.
We get a lot of client that have to postpone their safaris from one year to the next for a variety of reasons.
Our best port of entry is Johannesburg (OR Tambo). That is where we pick up most of our clients.
It is not the closest (Kimberley is a bit closer) but then you have to deal with connecting flights, etc.
Transfer cost from Johannesburg is $250 for the vehicle (one way).
The vehicle can take up to 3 hunters with their gear (Toyota Landcruiser SUV).
A fourth person can also squeeze in in the back seat if it is a smaller person.
For bigger groups we get a transfer company with a minibus and they charge $600 one way.
Additional days for hunters are $375 per day and for observers $250 per day.
Sincerely
Hans de Klerk
