Well I leave in less than a week now. I'm headed to Zim with Dalton and York Safaris in the North Omay concession. My main target is cape buffalo, chobe bushbuck, hyena, a big kudu, big waterbuck and whatever else we might encounter. Also planning on doing a little fishing on Lake Karibe. The This Is Africa crew just left and killed a couple world class buff bulls. Also our very own Rhinehart0500 just left with a very successful hunt but I'll leave that up to him to report as he is currently traveling back as we speak. I wish I could say I've been excited but I've been battling an unknown medical issue that 8 weeks ago had me contemplating canceling the trip. However, I have been feeling better as of the past two weeks and barring any flare ups, I'll be on that Emirates flight to Dubai-Harare next Wednesday evening. Fingers crossed.

Awesome, best of luck! Look forward to the report!

Wishing you the best of luck in your travels and health, have a great trip

Best of luck Buck! I'm glad you're feeling well enough to make the trip. I'm leaving in 41 days to hunt in the Dande area. I'll be very interested to hear how your trip went and whether COVID presented any obstacles. Enjoy your safari!

Stay healthy and have a great trip.
Good luck.

Wish you the best of luck !

Go well Buck Wild, I hope that your health is good and that you get great animals. All the best, Kevin.

Yes I'm waiting to speak with Rhinehart0500 this weekend to get the same info from him :)

Have a great hunt! I believe Dalton has attended our AH dinners in Dallas in the past, nice gent.

Boarded for the final leg from DXB back to IAD. Full report to follow soon.

Buckle up @buck wild !!! You're in for an adventure. The Omay and dalton yorksafaris exceeded all expectations. You're going to have to work for each trophy, but that makes the success even sweeter! We saw and/or took exceptional trophy quality animals of all the species you mentioned.

And the fishing is great too... here's a teaser for my report:

Goodluck!!! Please post a report of your hunt in the Omay. I’m very interested in that area versus Chewore.

I’m sure you’ll have a fantastic hunt. Enjoy yourself and stay safe.

I wouldn't do it any other way ! A full report will be coming and I know Rhinehart is also going to do a report now that he is back.
