I lived in Kenya in the 1970s - and worked for the East African and International Professional Hunters' Associations in Nairobi. There I had the privilege of meeting and getting to know men who were - and are - counted among the greats in the history of East African professional hunting. I learned many things from them about their love of the bush and the animals themselves and the respect they had for both. I have personal photographs and letters that I still treasure. I also have a collection of books written by or about the ones that I knew. I count myself very fortunate to have been a part of their lives and have maintained contact with some. I'm happy to have found Africa Hunting and be able to join you.
