In memoriam - Loss Of A Fellow Forum Member SAFARIKIDD

To the members:
I have learned on another forums (where Safari Kid was well known and liked) that he suddenly passed away. He was a big bore enthusiast, to say the least. He has a couple remaining posts on the for sale forum here. RIP SK.

Sad to hear this. He had a lot to offer, Prayers.

@JeffD I’m glad you posted this, I was thinking about the HK91 he had listed and thought….

“Wow what if somebody wired or sent him payment?”

I know that’s the last thing @SAFARIKIDD would have wanted; so I urge those making high end purchases online to document the transaction on both ends.

Yes. He was a straight up guy, and he wouldn’t have wanted that to happen. Quite a character He was a straight up guy, and he wouldn’t of wanted that to happen. Quite a character so I’ve been told.

Like many of you, I, too, was extremely shocked by this extremely sad news. I had replied to an email to him an hour or so ago and then came here, to AH, thinking I might find him online, only to be completely shocked to learn of his passing. This same thing happened with friend, Cal Pappas. I also learned of his passing here. To his family & friends and all who knew and loved him, my most sincere condolences.

My he Rest In Peace. I didn't know him, but we spoke a couple times, I have zero doubt he was a guy very easy to get along with, and clearly a hell of a lot of fun.

It is with great regret that I must inform all of our fellow forum members about the unfortunate death of @SAFARIKIDD . He was a true sportsman and hunter to boot. A big bore enthusiast and a good man of solid character. He greatly assisted a mutual friend of ours in a time of need with unconditional generosity. And he will be missed greatly.

Prayers for the dearly departed gentleman. May he eternally hunt in the untamed wilds of Africa with his beloved 4 gauge Ken Owens sidelock ejector and .600 Overkill CZ-550 custom piece. May God/Allah grant him Heaven/Jannat.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
