If you could only have 3 guns....

Ok, I think after looong consideration I may be able to tackle this. I am not a shotgun guy ( too imprecise, that bird that flew off did you hit him or not). I will miss a .22 but don't really use it much these days. Also I see a lot of folks are conserned about ' defence', but I have never felt that was an issue regards humans. Only bears and maybe cougars ( animal variety). So I asked myself the question, if I won a big lotto and wanted to hunt the planet till I couldn't what would I need?
1. .223 bolt action. For deer, varmints and blowing the heads off the odd grouse, target shooting and staying honed.
2. 7mm RM or 280 AI, for most hunting around the world.
3. 375 Ruger or H and H, for the bigger stuff.

I might cheat some more...
If I pull the trigger on a new gun I am am interested in, it may change the picture...

1. Krieghoff Bergstutzen-9.3x74R/6.5x57R
2. 12ga O/U Brno
3. 500 Jeff ZKK 602

That should cover the bases quit well:ROFLMAO:

Would a gun with several switch barrels like a Blazer count as one gun?

At this moment in time and choosing from my current battery:

1 . 270 win
2 . 375 Ruger Alaskan
3 . 416 ( either my Rem or Rigby )

If I could only have 3 guns, I would start a 2nd-Amendment lawsuit! :sneaky:

But seriously:

A fine English-made, pre-war .375 H&H, scoped
A WWI-era (or slightly earlier) surplus bolt-action from UK, US, Germany, or Switzerland- Krag, Enfield, Mauser, Schmidt-Rubin, etc.
A fine English-made, pre-1910 sidelock side-by-side shotgun

I can't remember ever shooting a bolt action Blaser rifle, but I keep hearing Red Leg singing it's praises that I looked it up and saw videos of it on YouTube and it does seem impressive.

One guy worked and fired one on target at 100 yards like it had a joy switch on it.
