Hunting Recommendations for Ireland?

Yes, we have some good fallow bucks here probably the most widely spread deer in the country. Personally I prefer the sika. Their chilling whistle during the rut is pretty awesome.
we Do Not have exotic sheep sometimes referred to as “stone sheep” by outfitters. Probably bought at the local mart and dropped up on the hill the week before.

I have seen several YouTube videos etc of us from the states hunting stone sheep over there with outfitters. I am in a Facebook group for hunting In Ireland and the locals would blast those outfitters for doing such things. Seems that there is a few outfitters over there selling Stone Sheep “hunts”.

I am wanting to hunt Fallow deer there one day. Hopefully in the next year or two

“Stone sheep” ? What a load of bollicks ! They call our wild goats Ibex also. Stick to hunting fallow or sika deer.

The good thing is that the people over there are letting international hunters know they are getting scammed and giving them a heads up. The fallow deer there seem very nice

Are the four horned sheep a scam as well?

The 4 horned sheep or Jacobs sheep as they are more commonly known are an unusual breed, not an everyday occurrence but I know 2 sheep farmers who breed them.
