Hillary Clinton

Obama spent 8 years "kowtowing" to everybody. If Trump is going to step on some toes to negotiate better trade deals, and keep jobs, and more prosperity in the USA....I'm all for it. I have nothing against our Canadian brothers. Business is business.

Republicans will always create animosity with Liberal run countries. We simply have a different mindset, and are not accepting of the globalist agenda.

Nothing like a political thread to start a bout of urinary olympics. Hopefully the admins will dump this asap.

Agree 100 percent! Whatever Trump did with Stormy or anyone else, took place BEFORE he was President unlike one of his well known playboy predecessors, I believe the husband of the bubbly and loquacious HRC, who just cannot seem to MOVE ON with her own life after trying to destroy everyone elses, especially those who accused her playboy husband of all manner of nefarious deeds, including rape. Why we would want these psychopaths back in the WH is beyond me!

Wait! Who's fault was that?!

Sometimes when I am feeling low, not often mind you, I go back and watch video of election night when all the snowflakes were crying and having a cow because HRC lost, its very soothing to the soul.:D But as I said, she brings this on herself with her never ending "who can I blame next?", pity party, "how come I lost?" campaign. I wish in reality that she would just shut up and go away, but she wont. So therefore she is fair game for continued ridicule.

Yeah sure narcissistic sociopath describes trump all right, its almost impossible to be both you know overly self confident and extremely shy sure yeah that sounds like Trump. By Trump driving a rift in the western world I think you mean republicans as any republican president would have done the same thing because Europe hates republican thinking. Also Paris agreement really china puts out as much crap in a day as the US does in a month and your saying the US is the villain for not accepted that agreement.

My wife and I just hosted some travelers from Germany, and last night I asked them what they thought about Trump. Among other things, they commented that Trump has succeeded in doing in 1 1/2 years what Russia has been trying to do for 70 years. I asked them what they meant by that, to which they replied " For 70 years Russia has been trying to create a rift and chasm between the Western allies without success. Trump has succeeded".

Unfortunately, that's the truth.
Putin has a greater reputation in Europe than Trump.
What a world this has become.

"Western Europe, have chosen to Kowtow to the Muslim horde."
Brent ,unfortunately there is something to it.
But who destabilizes the Middle East countries,Iraq,Libya and their neighbours ?
Not Germany,not Norway,not Italy,not Denmark.
Grab your nose. You're at war and we've got the refugees.

Saudi Arabia is the hardest Muslim theocracy on this earth and a permanent warmonger.
Trump is excited about these muslims. It's funny, isn't it? Or to cry.

Which of our allies were they speaking of?
I think the Germans are screwed. They wanted things to continue status quo and Trump isn't having that. They are going to suffer economicly without continued support of the US and will no longer be able to anchor the European economy's.

They need oil, and trade (I would argue the whole World needs trade and the more open, honest it is the better.

Without the US keeping Russia in check, those sources of oil and trade routes are subject to Russian interference. Short term good for the US economicly. We are now energy independent, if we want/need to be. Great Britain is aligning itself with us and giving Trump what he wants. Their Prime Minister met Trump bearing gifts. Germany's brought us nothing but a request for status quo and Trump was not excited.

Fact of the matter is that Trump holds all the good cards right now and he knows his hand is going to improve.

His negotiator with China on trade talks is the same guy who in negotiations under Bush, told the Japanese what he wanted, then took off his ear piece translator, disassembled it during the retort, then put it back together and basicly said, "ok, so we're doing it my way right?"

Long term it is disconcerting about Germany. The track record is not good for whenever Germany's economy suffers badly... hope it doesn't come to that.

Can't a person go anywhere and escape politics? Televised sports lost me long ago because the sportscasters couldn't distinguish between sports and politics. Political messages in music are fine, but when the singers start thinking they're leaders of a political movement and assume I care about their political opinions, I turn their music off. Now, I see threads on a safari hunting website about politics. Believe me, my political views align

I subscribe to a few other forums and political threads are dumped almost immediately by the admins and bosses. I agree, political threads do little more than start shit and cause hard feelings between otherwise kindred souls.

Easy solution would be a politics subforum. Or to just ban political discussions. However that might be tough due to the political nature of hunting and firearms.

Maybe a hunting and shooting politics subforum with discussion of all other politics being banned or discouraged?

FWIW I agree with most of the comments here and I am glad Trump beat Hillary, but I also agree with the fear of the forum getting mired in political sniping.

Well, this is the "General Chat" Section. There is no required reading.
I think the intent was to keep Threads from getting hijacked and mired down in "stuff". But here's the direction pertaining to this section
If something doesn't belong elsewhere, this is where you can put it. Anything your heart desires can be posted here (assuming of course there's not already an area for it). This does *not* mean you can put stuff here that isn't allowed.
But the intent of the comments above has merit. We should "self moderate" and keep it civil and respectful.

No you cant. If you don't like politics, don't read political discussion, no one makes you read it.

It's always great to hear a different perspective, especially when it is considered and civil...

I mean no disrespect to any of our European members when I ask this. But just how many of our Western allies have asked the US to remove any of its military presence from Europe?

This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
