Heym express 600 NE

154lbs of recoil in a 12lb gun is about 180lbs of recoil in a 10lb gun. I know of no scope or mounts that can withstand that recoil. It’s over 150% the recoil of a 4-bore.

600 NE is for sissies :-)))))

Exactly. Needs that antitank gun carriage. I dare say the bore is in pristine condition.

The rifle itself is in pristine condition too :-))
This shop always has very unique second hand big bore rifles .. every time I am in Moscow I stop by to see what is available..

My Russian Brother.....

Where have you been? We have all missed you.

Tell your beautiful wife her Uncle Odin says hello.
:E Dancing:
I am still harvesting.. I will be one in 15- 20 days if the weather permits.. and i will relay your hello to my wife uncle Odin :-)

This doesn't look too bad, but it doesn't say what grain bullet or velocity it was loaded to.

Reminds me of the half dozen boxes of 460weatherby ammo I’ve purchased at flea markets. Always 19 rounds in the box!
The late Bill Quimby, had mentioned that he shot a .460 Weatherby once. Said he never wanted to shoot it again.

They were asking 20 000 dollars for it .. but keep in mind this is in Russia .. lots of import taxes if you were to import a new one ..

I carried a 460 Weatherby for a month moose hunting in one of the largest concentrations of brown bears in the world. Saw at least two dozen and was lights out on the moose. Not even a twitch.

Cem, your 460 Weatherby has enough "horsepower" to drop anything you might choose to hunt. Walking away from that Hyem Express 600 was a smart move.

Talking about moose hunting .. I am just leaving the house for a driven hunt :-)) we saw a big one in the woods last week ...

Let us know how the hunt goes.
Which rifle are you taking, or is it obviously the 460WBY?

A .600 in a bolt rifle.nope….but in a double...with 26" barrels and regulated for the 900-110 load..oh yes.. :Cigar:

Good luck on your Moose hunt. Where and with whom will you be hunting?

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA
