Up for sale is perfect condition Heym 500 NE 88B. This double was sent to JJ for strip and clean about 2-3 months ago. I have a lot invested in guns and would like to thin out the heard as I am moving to all Blaser platform. After my recent trip to Africa I realized Blaser is all I really need. Let me know if you are interested in more pics or have any other questions. Price is $18k firm I do live in the Los Angeles area and can meet a local gun store. I also have a 88B in 470 NE which I will be posting in about 2-3 weeks.

Yes that is correct the 500 barrels are ported. Not sure if it was from factory but when I purchased the rifle it was already ported. I was pretty surprised my self when I first saw hence why I took a clear picture of the porting.

Too bad the Heym 375H&H is not left handed. What are the barrel lengths just out of curiosity.

Love the 500!!! GL with the sale.

I’m a Lefty and thought the same thing....I’ve got a double 470 NE in left hand (Chapuis) and probably gonna sell it and buy a .375 or smaller

I had several requests for more pics of each double. This is the Heym 375

We 'll visit Livingstone / Vic Falls for 3 days and 2 nights. Back to Mapcha by car, back to WDH with Airlink (grab my rifles and belongings) and the same day back to Frankfurt.
What do you mind from your own experience ? and your wife .? Did she appreciate ?
We already hunted Namibia in 2022, May for PG near Outjo for 8 days. Great country.
Thank you for your advises.

Hello Cecil
I am Philippe from Center of France. I plan to hunt Zambezi with Zana Botes in 2026, Oct after a couple of days for PG in Namibia in his lodge. I will be with my wife. She is not really a huntress and we promised to go visit Vic Falls. I imagine to go to Caprivi by car , hunt there 7 days (for buff) and go by car to Vic falls (PH will bring back my rifle) . sorry I am required to write 2 messages
