Here's my ammo lineup, which gaps do you see?

I see a 12, but that is a pretty deficient gamebird list.

However, you could get rid of half the rifle calibers and still have every situation well covered.

I shoot grouse with my .22 and Turkey with my 12g. Not much of a bird hunter although that may change next year if they open up the Sandhill Crane season like they've been talking about. "Rib-eye of the sky".

.220Swift - it’s speed combined with modern bullets make it punch above its weight class.

I would have said .257wby but you have that range covered; however the .220Swift can go from varmint hunting to medium game by switching projectiles.

The quarter bores are something I know very little about. Do you use them for deer sized game? Varmints?

Right now my 22lr is my small game cartridge, 223 and 6.5x55 for coyotes and any big game I'm grabbing the 6.8 or larger.

You're underselling your Swede. Swedes and Norwegians have killed a crap ton of moose, caribou, and red deer with them in the last century. Certainly not a long range load for any of those, but with 155-160 gr pills, 6.5 punches well above it's class so long as you keep the distances under 200 or so yards.

Unfortunately, there are no 160s for sale in the US (until Woodleigh starts exporting again) but Norma Oryx 156 and Lapua Mega 155 are both good bullets.

I used the 160 gr Woodleighs to great effect on a recent safari, but if I didn't have those, would have happily gone with Norma or Lapua

I made it a goal to lower my number of calibers and purposely whittled down my number of calibers because I felt like it was better to have less calibers and higher quantity of ammo that fit more guns on hand.

That being said, of course you should add more calibers

I’ve taken mine moose hunting with those 156gr pills. Never got to connect on an animal but I have no doubt it would do the trick, great sectional density.

I think Woodleigh will be getting close to producing some 7mm varieties if they are not already.
I asked maybe 2 months ago and they did say they were getting close.
As for export I don’t know but I hope to secure some

You are in desperate need of a 25 then get rid of that pathetic 338 and get a nice 35. A nice 22 Hornet would fit nicely between the 22lr and the 223 as well.

also missing a nice mid bore like 35 Whelen.
And a glaring omission is a sub gauge shotgun. One should actually have a .410, 28 and and 20 ga.

A man with true class and fine tastes, a bit like myself. Great choices. There's no gaps to fill between 25 and 35. Where the 25 finishes the 35 takes over
