HELP NEEDED To Find Scott van Zyl Gone Missing In Zimbabwe

Condolences to van Zyl family.

Sad. But he was doing what apparently he loved to do. We should all be so lucky.
My deepest sympathies to his family. I just hope they can find closure.

Ph's ,hunters and friends from ZIM ,SA,Africa,America,UK and around the world come together in times of need ,lets not forget hunting people are genuine people ,SCOTT was truly one of them , we all pray for those that need it ,at this time lets all say a prayer for the family and loved ones who surrounded this young man ,
Hunting friends are forever in our life ,our thoughts and our hearts ,
God bless the family and please God keep them strong.

My sincere condolences to the family at this time of grief. I have been comunicating with Scott for over 12 months regarding a hunt with him in May. He has been excellent with information and help. Although I have not met him he filled me with confidence. It is a sad day when a fine man departs us under such circumstances.
Scott, may you roll your swag for the final time in a place that you love.
RIP.

Very sorry to hear the outcome. Condolences to the family.

My deepest condolences to the family.

I have been working too much lately but even when I'm at work I'm still thinking it's hard to believe Scott is gone. I have known him over a dozen years. I recommended his company and services for years. He was a great outfitter. He understood how to care for customers and their needs. He managed his place with class and grace. I'm sad he is gone. I was hoping to go kudu hunting with him. I'm sorry for his wife and kids, because I know they loved him dearly.

Prayers for the Van Zyl Family

Had been busy preparing for the hunting season and only now, with tears in my eyes, received the news.
My sincere condolences to Scott's family.
R.I.P. my brother, we will never forget you.

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR MY RIFLE, ALWAYS APPROACH A NEW LOAD CAUTIOUSLY!!*
Rifle is a Pierce long action, 32" 1:8.5 twist Swan{Au} barrel
{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}
Peterson .280AI brass, CCI 200 primers, 56.5gr of 4831SC, 184gr Berger Hybrid.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
