Evening gents.
I've just stumbled across this tool and having had a play, I'm fairly impressed.
It's basically a free to download and use version of Quickload.
Link: https://grtools.de/index.php
You need to sign up on the site to download it, but no card details or anything and after that it's just a normal desktop application which can be used offline as normal..
The software itself is still in Beta testing, but more components are being added on a semi-regular basis and whilst the data still needs refining and should not be taken as gospel (always validate with your load manual etc), the results it throws out seem pretty good in comparison to my real world results and loading manuals for the calibres I've looked at (.270win, .375H&H, .44Mag, 6.5CM).
It has all the components I use except H110 and cast bullets, and you can put in requests for stuff to be added on the site. There are also a few features for recoil calculation and a tool to suggest powders based on your parameters (cartirdge, velocity, case fill, pressure, powder burn).
The application iself is fairly intuitive, much more than QL and with a more modern interface.
Well worth a look if you want some software to aid with load development, and whatever happens, it'll be worth what you paid for it...
