Got the good news I will be elk hunting this year

Your not kidding about that. Hoping this is the hunt after some hard hunting ends in a good 6x6 over 300 inches. Seen many over that mark when I had my son deer hunting there. I think I will have a bear tag to as there is a few walking around.

Mike b turkey in the cabin yard seems like the signs of a good turkey hunt coming up.

Well I leave next week to chase some elk. Have a few days to scout before me and friend hit the hills. He sends me a picture of a bull and all I can say is wow. He has to make it through the first muzzy season for us to chase him but it is a big bull year in new mexico.

Great bull Bill! I'm heading to NM this morning to take my boys on ML hunt. I was over in AZ a couple weeks ago and found this bull that I'm going to concentrate on.

I’m just on the way back from New Mexico after a Antelope hunt ( report in a couple of days),my guide showed me some pictures from bow season, there are some huge Elk been taken. Good luck

Just south of Livingston, east side of the Paradise Valley in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Area. Going Nov 12-19 and taking my son-in-law for his first elk hunt.

Thanks everyone and looks like a few have the elk bug. It is a great year for big bulls in new mexico. Just hope the pressure for first muzzy hunt does not push some of the big bulls to the deep nasty stuff but we will go to were there at.

This bull is a 380 class bull on public land.

Cody that looks like a good bull to be chasing that you found.
