Got some bad news from one of our own from the site

Does he have PayPal? Does that even work in RSA? Maybe something similar?

A quick search tells me that Paypal works in RSA so that would probably be the way to go if he already has an account.

I don't want to get to far ahead with out getting the go ahead from Jerome on using this thread to maybe set up something to help bossie out. I just want to help and get him back on his feet after this bad news. I am sure if even we all do alittle it will help some and take some pressure off of him and his family.

You can make a "Gofundme" page. From what I've heard about go fund me, it's a legit way of getting donations. Just an idea.

Gofundme is legit, but the fees are also 7.9%.... Paypal is cheaper, but the cheapest is still likely to be just writing a good old fashioned check. We might want to think about a collection point/person and then pooling the money. This would also allow anyone who wanted to remain anonymous. As long as the collection person has paypal anyone who wanted could still pay that way.

Just a thought.... I'll be happy to help however I can.

I got a message from Bossie that they at least found a place to sleep. I think they need a good nights sleep and gather their tnoughts..... Royal stay in touch.

I asked him for wiring info but he did not provide it... I think he was just glad to find foodcand shelter for his family this first night. He indicated his wife will check what is needed for the family and some neighbors are helping with trucks and labor.

Bossie also said they are fine as well as the animals. He thanked the Lord several times for keeping them safe.
