I'd have to agree with you on that one. (The picture is even from a crappy angle for showing him off) Like I said, I am a lucky SOB.
Took that one at Leeukop Safaris in 2011 along the Pongola River.

I like the rug hanging there Wayne!

I need that kind of luck, I will be trying for the mini 10.

Looking good, I no you are excited.
my first trip to S.A. I passed up a 15 yard bow shot at a Red Duiker , still regret it today. Forrest

Nice! Never seen a rug like that before!

Very nice Wayne! Going after a Spotted Hyena this summer with Marius ... thanks for the inspiration!

Wayne could you have taken a brown vs a spotted and still taken it back to Canada?

Charlie, we can import Brown Hyena. Canada follows CITES!

I have not specifically hunted Brown Hyena. Although I have set eyes on one once.

It can be done. Someone in the crowd needs sharp eyes if you are hunting them in daylight and basically spot and stalk.
If you are baiting them, I'll bet it requires plenty of patience.

Good luck on your hunt.

That will be haunting you for a while.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
