That is a spectacularly beautiful rifle, and I intrinsically trust your judgement that it is a good deal. And yes, I can verify that he is an AH member and a really great guy; i just did a deal with him this past week. Whoever gets this is going to do well indeed. Here’s a good deal this week and I’m pretty sure this is an AH member’s advert.
It’s a really nice Dakota Model 10 that has a lot of upgrades and is in arguably the most practical and desirable smallbore caliber, 7x57.
Upgrades I see: Color case hardened action. Exhibition wood. Drop points on the stock (teardrops). That’s roughly an $11,000 rifle new, plus it has a $3400 optic and $250 rings. I’ve hunted all over the world with a gun nearly identical to that one, taking everything from bear to deer, waterbuck to kudu, duikers to hyenas.

The reason it hasn’t sold? My hypothesis is human psychology. Someone would call it a deal if it had no scope and rings, then they’d run out and buy those two items separately for the same total price and call it a bargain because they wrote three separate checks for the same total price.
If you’ve never handled a Dakota 10, they are considerably more lively and svelte than a Ruger number 1 and these Dakotas are so comfortable to carry all day.
PS - I'm not sure if you caught this, but the optic is not included (however, the rings are).
