Good Gun Deals This Week

Yeah I looked at the transactions too. They contacted my brother by email and text and sent him a picture of their license that matched the name on the GB account. English was not heir first language though and it was all just a little sketchy. Then yesterday afternoon I think he got some kind of fraud notification from gunbroker, but I have been traveling and he is working so I’m not 100% on the details.

Bought one, when first released; sadly I let the dealer talk me into selling it back to him for "that little bit more" before I took delivery. Never seen again here ...

Here is another rare bird. Parker Hale in .375 HH. Based on a military action, not the Santa Barbara Spanish action.
My PH catalog says this is the model 1100M African Magnum. If I was looking for a .375 I would bid on this but I am not.

For those willing to do an international transaction and/or Germany:

Heym Express w/ Aimpoint scope, 500 Jeffrey: 5800 euro's

Heym Express w/ Aimpoint scope, 600 Nitro Express: 7500 euro's

This is a heck of a deal... wish I could convince myself to spend the cash! I suspect similar rifles would be way more expensive back home @Red Leg @rookhawk

Two decent deals coming up shortly, the 416 especially may be a steal due to poor wording of the advertisement.

I might bid on the rigby just for the scope!

Yep, if I had the spare cash I wouldn't have posted it. Figure someone here can take advantage of it at least even if I can't.

Another concern is the seller has zero reviews. Proceed with caution on the 416.

This one is a bit unusual. I suspect the G&H side mount is not original. Hurt the value???
Found this: Frederick T. Baker took over the business of Thomas Kerslake Baker at 88 Fleet Street Stonley, London in 1857, moved to 21 Cockspur Street, SW, London 1882-1898. Then back to 88 Fleet Street and 29 Glasshouse Street, Regents Street, W 1899-1900. 29 Glasshouse Street 1901-1913. FT BAKER, LTD. 1913 recorded at 64 Haymarket 1913-1916. Westley Richards succeeded to the business in 1913. FREDERICK T. BAKER, LTD. removed to Grange Road, Bournebrook, Birmingham 1916-2000. (WESTLEY RICHARDS succeeded to the London business in 1913, kept it going there until 1916 and then registered it at their factory address. They still own the name). BRITISH GUNMAKERS VOLS I & II Nigel Brown.

I have seen a number of FT Baker shotguns and all have been very good quality. This is the first rifle I have encountered with their name on it.

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.
