Is it even safe to shoot?

The point of proof marks is to PROVE a gun is safe to shoot. It's proven safe by the full faith and trust of the various proof marks whether in Germany or England.

Unfortunately, when the proof marks are forgeries, your life is being placed in the faith you give to someone that made a counterfeit gun. If they were willing to make a fake gun, and fake proof marks, how could we rely on them to be judicious with safety on the manufacture?

That would nearly be a duplicate in performance. Would have to get a 470 or larger to make it worth it!
